Former Mexican President Peña Nieto Took $100 Million Bribe, Witness at El Chapo Trial Sayshttps://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/15/nyregion/el-chapo-trial.html
The stunning testimony was delivered Tuesday in a New York courtroom by Alex Cifuentes Villa, a Colombian drug lord who worked closely with Mr. Guzmán from 2007 to 2013, when the kingpin was hiding from the law at a series of remote ranches in the Sierra Madre mountains.
Mr. Guzmán paid a bribe of $100 million to President Peña Nieto? Jeffrey Lichtman, one of Mr. Guzmáns lawyers, asked Mr. Cifuentes during cross-examination.
Yes, Mr. Cifuentes said.
Mr. Guzmán may offer more details soon. Shortly after the jury was excused around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Mr. Lichtman submitted his clients name to the prosecution as a potential witness for the defense, confirming that the drug trafficker might testify in his own trial.
KICKING in case someone here knows of a connection between
Larry Ellison and Kanye West!
Also, how might they intend to use Tik Tok?
Also, remember, Trump thinks some of the money from this acquisition should go to the United States treasury?!? Bill Gates laughed this off, but since Larry Ellison is 'true believer' in Trump, Ellison might go along with that outrageous and illogical idea.
A convoluted theory
Trump supporter Larry Ellison (Oracle co-founder) suddenly appeared out of nowhere two days ago and made a bid on Tik Tok, trying to usurp Microsoft's attempts to possibly buy it.
This makes me wonder if Kanye has been brought in by Larry Ellison.
Something really screwy might be going on.
I'll try to find some links and add them here.
Also, this is just a theory.

In my opinion, this is suspicious AF.
Robert Trump is the only Trump that's going to lie
in state in Washington D.C.
I think when Trump passes, they should just stick his body on the golf course at Mar-A-Lago.
This will be macabre. Will Trump give a eulogy? Do you think
he'll remember to mention Robert Trump?
I was talking to my mom about this dilemma. What I said was that
I feel compassion for the thirteen year old Donald Trump, but that those feelings are completely separate from the issue of his dangerousness to our country and our planet, and that my priority had to be removing him and holding him accountable for his crimes. And I think we can appreciate the awfulness of growing up in that household but still appreciate his fundamental brokenness and dangerousness.
But I get where you're coming from. My mother was interested in how I reconcile my activism and anger against Trump with being a Buddhist. There actually is no contradiction, but it's not easy to explain.
Robert Thurman, Uma's dad and a practitioner and teacher of Buddhism, has written about this issue and the compatibility of feeling compassion and anger simultaneously for someone who is a threat to humanity. I sort of have to block out my compassion when I'm in the heat of battle, as we all are now.
Actor/Activist Ron Perlman on Dean Obeidallah's program last night
This particular interview was so exceptional. I've seen Ron Perlman in films but I hadn't realized he was an activist and such a poignant, passionate and articulate one at that. I wish I could transcribe the entire interview, but here's a key moment to give you a flavor.
He also said, at one point:
What I can't capture is the poignancy, the moral indignation, the outrage and, even at times, the humor. He exactly nailed the way I've been feeling lately.
If you like what he's saying, follow him on Twitter @perlmutations
Dean Obeidallah also had on his program yesterday Rob Reiner, Joy Ann Reid and Mary Trump. It is archived on the SiriusXM website under Progressive Radio if you are a subscriber.
They did! That is a strange account. Sometimes there are suggestive
bursts of FBI Vault releases. I remember they posted some strange things...
Some Epstein related documents? (EDIT: I don't think it was this)
But there was something else. There were two or three releases of documents that pertained to "current events", something unfolding right at that moment in the news.
Damn, I'm having trouble recalling but the FBI Vault released some things that seemed unfavorable to Trump or some of his cronies at a crucial moment over the last three years, and they did so in rapid succession. At the time, it seemed intentional. But now I can't remember the specific investigations they released.
The documents turned out to be rather disappointing (and fairly redacted), compared to what came out later, but they were appropriate appetizers that validated that the FBI had looked into some incendiary events in the news.
Hopefully somebody can fill in this gap. It was the type of content Rachel Maddow might have reported on.
Excellent. Agree: It's probably difficult to corroborate a single piece of
evidence that is under the purview of a few select individuals in the GRU. Look how hard it has been to get any details about the DVDs and photographs hidden in Jeffrey Epstein's safe.
Here's the part of John Bolton's book that is worth reading
I'm going to save you $25, and the time you can never get back of having to slog through 570 pages of John Bolton congratulating himself, setting out in tedious detail every phone call and trivial thought, comparing himself favorably to every other person who appears in the book, and copiously quoting other people saying nice things about him.
It all boils down to this paragraph from page 77:
It's not by John Bolton.
He's quoting Winston Churchill.
