I spent most of yesterday working, not checking the news, and when I finally get onto DU this morning, there are some stories, some fun stuff, some tweets, but you know what there's not?
A SCANDAL OF THE DAY.
I'm realizing just how exhausting and stressful four years of TFG was.
Not that we don't have problems, but at least now we have the attention to try to deal with them instead of every moment being the news equivalent of "Squirrel!" popping up on our screens.

My kids have graduated, but my neighbor has a 6-year-old and is grateful for the mask and vaccine mandates, and terrified that her child could get sick because of these morons. Ugh.

Thirty years ago today I married the man of my dreams.
And about thirteen years ago he introduced me to DU.
As I posted last week we had to cancel our trip to Catalina (where we got married) because of Covid. Turns out it was a good decision because I read that Matt Gaetz went there to marry his child bride a few days ago. Probably infected the whole island.

Remember Trump's surprise withdrawal from Syria?
We had troops there helping the Kurds who had PROVEN their willingness to fight. Trump just yanked our folks out with no notice, leaving entire bases there for the Russians and Turks to come in and occupy. Kurds were murdered in the streets, and their entire community destroyed.
Somehow THAT was fine with the MAGAts.
But now that we're ending a 20-year war, allying with people who have no will to fight the Taliban, and sending troops to rescue those who can and want to get out. Well, obviously that's an impeachable offense.
Hypocrisy, thy name is MAGAt.
