The best part of working for a record company was exposure to new music...

...and growing up in the 60's having a transitor radio, and then a turntable & speakers and a receiver/amp !!

My favorites, in no real order (you DID say we could list more then five if so inclined):

_Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (My first album bought with my paper route $)

_The Chambers Brothers "The Time Has Come"

_The Last Poets "First"

_Stevie Wonder "Talking Book"

_Dr John "The Night Tripper"

_The Neville Brothers ?– "Fiyo On The Bayou"

_Bob Dylan "Freewheelin"

_Country Joe & The Fish "Feel Like I'm Fixin to Die"

_The Mothers of Invention "Freak Out"

_Fairport Convention "Unhalfbricking"

_Planxty "Planxty"

And of course The Who "Tommy", Beatles "Sgt Pepper" Jethro Tull "Aqualung" and on and on. It was/is a great time to be alive music -wise!

Oh, and thanks for asking red dog1

Cheers!
