What are some of your favorite progressive sources? Make suggestions to add to a master list.

Hi DU:

Now that we have the group, let's develop a list of resources to maintain in a thread we can pin to the top of the board.

We're looking for both "alternative progressive news SOURCES", and useful media gathering TOOLS, such as news feeds, little known cable and broadcast television and radio stations, podcasts, social media, etc.

A discussion with others interested in posting less mainstream and newly emerging, media resources and modes for accessing content prompted us to gauge interest with this OP:

Statement of Purpose:

A safe place to share and discuss wider ranging news, views and opinion from both internal alternative US news sources and Global sources available through external wireless or ethernet connected alternative delivery systems.

Alternative formats might include podcasts, streams, and other emerging formats that carry Left/Progressive Voices reporting about Current Topics in USA/Politics/Global Financial, Food and Water Resources, Climate Change News, etc.

If approved, we think it's a good fit under the DU "Media" and the "Activism" columns.

What do you guys think?
