dixiegrrrrl's JournalNestlé Says It Will Remove Artificial Flavors & Colors From Chocolate Products!!!
Hot fuckin damn....
Snip.....
Nestlé claims that the revamped products will begin hitting retail shelves by the middle of the year. They will be distinguished from existing items by a No Artificial Flavors of Colors notation on the packaging.
In addition to the removal of the artificial ingredients, Nestlé says it is investigating the possibility of replacing the caramel coloring that it uses in a handful of these products. While caramel coloring is exempt from FDA certification and would thus not fall under the umbrella of artificial, some types of caramel coloring include high levels of 4-Methylimidazole (4-MEI), a possible carcinogen. Recent studies have found that some colas may contain high levels of 4-MEI.
Anyone else have a blind dog?
Our beloved Golden has cataracts, they came on pretty quickly. Distance seems blurry, close up is ok, night vision seems gone, he gets upset when the lights are all off, so we leave a night light on.
He has been hesitant to run around, ( he is always on the long leash outdoors) and seems to prefer the same spot in the yard for his outdoor business.
Poor baby is 10...an old man.
What an irony he needs a seeing eye dog.
Any tips?
Go to Prison for Sharing Files? That's What Hollywood Wants in the Secret TPP Deal
This distinction is crucial. Commercial infringement, where an infringer sells unauthorized copies of content for financial gain, is and should be a crime. But that's not what the US is pushing forit's trying to get language passed in TPP that would make a criminal out of anyone who simply shares or otherwise makes available copyrighted works on a commercial scale.

Man arrested on suspicion of murder in San Francisco body parts case dies in hospital,
Mark Jeffrey Andrus went into septic shock and died after being rushed to the hospital Saturday for drug-related reasons, the Chronicle reported Sunday.
Andrus, 59, was released from jail Tuesday night. Andrus had been arrested Saturday in connection with the grisly discovery last Wednesday afternoon of body parts in a suitcase near the intersection of 11th and Mission streets, police said.
Public Defender Jeff Adachi told reporters after his release, Mr. Andrus was extremely relieved when I told him earlier today that no charges were going to be brought. So obviously he wants to get home.
District attorneys office spokesman Alex Bastian said Tuesday afternoon that prosecutors were very disturbed by the facts of the case, but given the current state of the evidence, there is insufficient evidence to charge this suspect with murder.
NBC’s Brian Williams recants Iraq story after soldiers protest
(He lied, for 10 years, until confronted by a soldier who was at the scene he lied about.)
Williams repeated the claim Friday during NBCs coverage of a public tribute at a New York Rangers hockey game for a retired soldier that had provided ground security for the grounded helicopters, a game to which Williams accompanied him. In an interview with Stars and Stripes, he said he had misremembered the events and was sorry.
The admission came after crew members on the 159th Aviation Regiments Chinook that was hit by two rockets and small arms fire told Stars and Stripes that the NBC anchor was nowhere near that aircraft or two other Chinooks flying in the formation that took fire. Williams arrived in the area about an hour later on another helicopter after the other three had made an emergency landing, the crew members said.
"........I cant believe he is still telling this false narrative.
