Another One. Trump will announce soon, that he is not running for re-election. He may resign soon

Why?...If Trump does not run, then, he gets out without having to defend himself over and over.with "Oh, we did a great job in fighting the virus." .. That is such a lie, that it could destroy Trump's chances of making money and appearing on talk shows...

....Defending his behavior and what he has said, will make him look even stupider than he now looks. (Hard to believe?) ..But, I believe Trump will avoid all of that, and become a very quiet person ...like Nixon was after his resignation...That is even harder to believe. But it will save some of his reputation..(some, among those that still respect him).

...Note: we are not talking about a break in and a cover up. We are talking about tens of thousands of deaths due to failure to adequately warn about something.,,which is the President's job. By not running or resigning, Trump almost allows for some criticism of his tenure, which in some areas might...(I said might)... save the Republican Party's existence) As this is written in Creative Speculation, I believe that some advisors & party professionals are now trying to get him to announce that he will not run for re-election in order the name of the Republican Party.
....Trump cannot win. His behavior is not defensible.

...Will this happen? Unlikely...but that is why they named it, "Creative Speculation"

Yes, There was a time when many people predicted a very short outcome of a major event.

..At the very beginning of the Civil War, in 1861, there were many that thought it would be over very quickly..Like it was a show to be watched. Lincoln did not believe that, and neither did the leaders of the South. But some people did. I read that some people thought that it would be over in a few months or weeks, and everything would return back to normal.....And those people were indeed, "stupid."
..Lincoln on the other hand knew as did many others that it would take years, not months. And Lincoln had empathy for the deaths. Southern leaders also knew this would be a fight to the death. Only stupid people even thought that it would be over quickly...just like today....

Pence and the "Mask Scandal"

...Pence just proved that he is much "too stupid" to be Vice President of the U.S.A. By not wearing a mask, he declared himself "above the laws of nature." He doesn't have to follow the simple rules that hospitals make to protect patients and visitors. Pence doesn't realize how absurd that particular moment has made his reputation. Everyone else wears a mask, but VP Pence doesn't need one. He wants to see clearly and better than others in the room.

...What kind of message does that send to hospitals and people working in hospitals?
...What kind of message does that send to workers in nursing homes?
...What kind of message does that send to all of us in the U.S.A.?

....The message is that Pence is above the law and doesn't have to do what needs to be done to protect himself and the rest of us during this horrific epidemic. He can do what he wants to do, no matter what the consequences. And finally, Mr. Pence doesn't answer to anyone, and he gets away with it.

...Mr. Pence doesn't have a clue. Pence is much too stupid to have even a tiny clue. Pence sets an example of not trying to protect himself and others during a pandemic. Like Mr. Trump, Mr. Pence cares only about himself, and he has burned that idea into history. Before this event, Mr. Pence might have avoided the Trump stupidity, (might have?) but after this event, Mr. Pence has identified himself as perhaps the stupidest Vice President in the history of the U.S.A.

There is one person I dislike as much as Trump: Mitch McConnell

,,McConnell is just as mean, smarter, more experience in government, knows all the ropes and how to pull them, and is just as evil. It ain't new for me, because I have disliked him for a long time. He tries to hurt people in ways that are crueler than Trump. When McConnell was quoted that he would do everything to stop Obama's programs and goals it became clear to me. McConnell is like Trump in that he thinks he knows it all.

...In some ways, McConnell is far more effective than Donald Trump I will be sending money to his opponent Amy McGrath. soon. I sure hope he looses. If both he and Trump lose, there will be a party, and everyone will be invited.

The massive rally statement says it all.

.."And we’re going to start to move around, and hopefully in the not too distant future we’ll have some massive rallies and people will be sitting next to each other."

Today is Wednesday. Will Trump take that back? Will he defend it? Who will defend that statement in the next few days?
... By the weekend, will it be over, or will it be worse for Trump? How will Republicans defend this? What is the "not too distant future"? It seems to me, that Trump needs to be removed for saying something like the above. .

Yet again, Trump pledges that the coronavirus will simply go away: Washington Post..

During a news media availability at the White House on Tuesday, President Trump was presented with a comment he made more than two months ago.

“Today the U.S. hit a grim milestone of 1 million cases of the coronavirus,” CNN’s Jim Acosta said. “Back in late February, you predicted that the number of cases would go down to zero. How did we get from your prediction of zero to 1 million?”

“Well,” Trump replied, “it will go down to zero, ultimately.”

This reply, while flippant, is not demonstrably incorrect. It may well be the case that the novel coronavirus is eventually eradicated entirely, though that’s trickier than it may seem. The flu strain at the center of the 1918 pandemic, for example, still circulates and is included in annual flu shots. Eradicating viruses entirely is hard to do, as doctors who have battled the spread of polio can attest.

who have battled the spread of polio can attest.

But while Trump’s reply demonstrates a remarkable optimism, it’s also completely disingenuous. His comments in February weren’t a vague assertion that the threat posed by the virus would pass. Instead, they were an assertion that the government was capably containing the virus and that the number of cases already presented would quickly winnow away.

Obviously, he was wrong.

That comment on Feb. 26 was not the first time he had claimed that the virus would simply dissipate.

Comment:...Trump is too stupid to know that that comment was quite stupid...

These two sentences are the key: from Trump's acceptance speech..

Credit to Earl G for original post.

While the 2nd sentence is important, perhaps the first is just as important, or more important...
........I looked on line, and Trump did say these sentences on July 21, 2016. I heard him..

Here is a link to the speech, From Politico:

https://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/full-transcript-donald-trump-nomination-acceptance-speech-at-rnc-225974

Note:....You only have to watch the first 5 minutes.. He says these very important sentences at about 4min and 15 seconds. Be patient, Hit the link, and give it a chance to load, and then listen & watch..And then pass it on to everyone...........................

..... " Safety will be restored". Trump said it, and he owns it..!!!

Trump has failed to restore safe living. Living is now more unsafe than before, and guess who is responsible for that? The idea of a safe life that Trump promised is very important. Everyone understands what a safe life is, and now life is far more unsafe than before Trump was elected..Who is the President who promised us "Safety will be restored." Trump has also failed to defend the lives of its own citizens as Earl G. points out......

______________________________________________________________________________________
July 21, 2016....exact words I heard at link that Trump said:

" I have a message for all of you: the crime and violence that today afflicts our nation will soon come to an end. Beginning on January 20th 2017, safety will be restored.

The most basic duty of government is to defend the lives of its own citizens. Any government that fails to do so is a government unworthy to lead. "
