A man in the forest talks to God..#21

One day, a man was walking in the forest.

He shouted," God, God, are you there?"

"Yes, my dear child, I'm here!" the God replied.

"God, I want to know a few things from you," that man shouted.

"Fine, shoot."

"God what's a million dollars to you ?" He asked.

"Oh! It is like a penny," God repiled.

"Then what's a million years to you?" He asked.

"Oh! It is like a second to me."

"God, I want a favour from you."

"My dear, what is it?"

"Can you give me a million dollars?"

"Oh, sure, just a second!!"

About Romney running for Dad's Approval.. That idea kills..

Another person we are told, ran for Dad's Approval..and it kills.
Dad didn't go to Bagdad, but sonny boy did.
We are told it was to show dad. It sure did.
And it demonstrated to all, what a stupid liar sonny boy is, was, and always will be.
But sadly, it killed a lot of people for nothing.
In fact, it made things much worse.
.. That is what these sonny boys are all about..

Hugo....wonderful movie..anyone else see it?

I saw Hugo today and really enjoyed it.
It is not really a kid's movie, although it is being marketed that way.
It is a wonderful drama involving some very interesting people and circumstances.
Takes place in Paris, 1930.
10 to 11 year old boy lives in a train station. He keeps the clocks working.
Trains coming and going..running on time, loud, surging people runing to get them.
Loud, pulsing, and radiating life.
Yet, there is a mystery here, something unique and wonderful..

But this movie is not really about trains, or stations, or even clocks..It is about Hugo and the people he meets and
what happens then. I really thinks this is a very special movie.

Anyone else see it??

Ex-President Bush Lied To FBI Director About Warrantless Surveillance: Book

Former President George W. Bush lied to FBI Director Robert Mueller in the Oval Office to protect White House programs that secretly eavesdropped on Americans, according to an upcoming book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Tim Weiner.

In "Enemies," the former New York Times reporter reveals the extent of the bureau's long war against terrorists, spies and anyone considered subversive, including American presidents. Among its explosive claims, Weiner reports that the FBI was penetrated by agents working for China, Russia, Cuba and al-Qaeda and that the bureau gathered evidence that was sufficient to impeach Presidents Bill Clinton, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.

In the wake of 9/11, when the Bush administration expanded its anti-terror programs to include warrantless eavesdropping of Americans' phones and emails, FBI director Mueller was one who opposed the program because he felt that the White House was "trying to do an end run" around the law. After drafting a letter of resignation, Mueller met with Bush one-on-one on March 12, 2004, telling him that "he would resign if the FBI was ordered to continue warrantless searches on Americans without an order from the Department of Justice." The meeting came the day after the infamous bedside visit to Attorney General John Ashcroft, when White House chief of staff Andy Card and legal director Alberto Gonzalez unsuccessfully tried to get the ailing Ashcroft to sign off on the program.

About A Spectaclar Job..very short..#20

One day a man spotted a lamp by the roadside. He picked it up, rubbed
vigorously, and a genie appeared.

"I'll grant you your fondest wish," the genie said.

The man thought for a moment, then said, "I want a spectacular job. A job that no man has ever succeeded at or has ever even
dared try.
"Poof!" said the genie. "You're a housewife."

Do You Cheat at Solitaire?? I guess I do...here is an example. What does the jury say?

I play a game called Free Cell...kinda keeps me sharp and focused if that is possible..
So I get so far..................AND......
and there is a button you can press called, "undo...and it takes back the moves you made..
In this way, I can see which mistakes I made in trying to beat the game. If one takes enough time,
and effort, each game is beatable, if you make the correct moves. Most of the time, I can figure it out
without the undo button, but some of the the time, I gotta use it three or four times, to get the correct
path to win.....Now..is that wrong, or cheating????

WHAT DOES THE JURY SAY???

Pet Fish Anyone...Joke #19

A man was stopped by a game-warden in Arkansas recently. He was
carrying two buckets of fish. He was leaving a lake well known for
its fishing.

The game warden asked the man: "Do you have a license to catch those
fish?"
The man replied to the game warden: "No, sir. These are my pet fish."

"Pet fish?" the warden replied

"Yes, sir. Every night I take these here fish down to the lake and
let them swim around. After awhile, I whistle and they jump back into
their buckets, and I take them back home again."

"That's a bunch of shit! Fish can't do that!" was the outburst from
the Warden.

The man looked at the game warden for a moment, and then said: "Here,
I'll show you. It really works."

The man poured the fish in to the lake and stood and waited.

After several minutes, the game warden turned to the man and said,
"Well?"

"Well, what?" the man responded.

"When are you going to call them back?" The game warden prompted.

"Call who back?" The man asked.

"The FISH."

"What fish?" The man asked.
