Why do so many of Trump's friends, associates and relatives lie so much? Answer is simple: They are

sure that they can get away with it.
...... Only one question more, "Where did they get that idea?"

The answer is so obvious that everyone can see it. "Donald Trump's friends, associates and relatives lie so much because Mr. Donald Trump has lied so much and he seems to have gotten away with it."

And Donald Trump has up to now, gotten away with it. Right now, as you read this, what is Donald Trump's job? Yes, he has trouble in that job, but he was elected to that job, and he is still in that job. Till about a year ago, Donald Trump was the living example of a liar who had gotten away with it. That seems to be coming to an end, (very soon, or not so soon), but that is why friends, associates and relatives lie so much....

George Papadopoulos was the first to go...He worked on Trump's 2016 campaign...here is some information on this first conviction..(from Wikipedia, link at bottom)

Alisa Liu, 13, becomes the youngest woman's figure skating champion in history

DETROIT — Alysa Liu, the diminutive and delightful 13-year-old figure skating sensation, had just become the youngest U.S. women’s champion in history Friday when she faced perhaps her most daunting task of the evening:

Ascending the nearly two-foot high top step of the medal podium.

At 4-7, she had no chance of getting there on her own, so last year’s national champion and this year’s runner-up, Bradie Tennell, reached out to pull Liu up, with some help from third-place finisher Mariah Bell.

As metaphors go, it was a doozy. It was only a year ago that Tennell, 20, was the surprising new national champion, while Bell, 22, has been an up-and-comer for several years.

A question about coins...Who knows why or when they changed the back side of the penny?

There is Lincoln on the front, but they changed it from the Lincoln Memorial to something else. Why did they do such a thing, and when did they do it?

Now this happened several years ago, and I think I noticed it before, but today, for some reason it kind of bothered me. I was not asked you know, maybe someone out there was asked, or consulted or knows this ridiculous change in ....."a penny"

I might add, this is not the most important question in today's world, and it isn't a new question..(it is
for me) ..But perhaps someone in the lounge has an answer. Yes, the lounge usually has most answers...

GOP senators read Pence riot act before shutdown votes

Here is a quote from that article:

One GOP senator said lawmakers told Pence “the shutdown needs to come to an end, this is not a strategy that works [and] we never should have had a shutdown in the first place.”

Why is this significant? McConnell is publically warning Pence about the shutdown. Now everyone knows that this is a warning to Pence and of course Mr. Trump. Also, this public warning published on Thursday, is significant only because it is a public warning...for all to know.

...My thought is this: If there was a public warning, there must have been an earlier private warning.
While there is no proof, McConnell, I am assuming told Trump much earlier, at some unknown point, that: .."that his is not a strategy that works, and that we never should have had a shutdown in the first place."

If true, then McConnell privately warned Trump much earlier, and Trump did not listen to McConnell. (Trump listens to no one) Significance: Trump does not listen to the majority leader in the Senate, who has years experience in situations like this. I suspect (I do not know) that McConnell has direct communication with Trump, since it appears that McConnell supports Trump's agenda totally. Now, we get a Thursday public warning of Pence...

It is almost as if: Trump was told ahead of time by McConnell that this would hurt Trump/and Republicans, and Trump refused to listen, and now that warning is being made public. When was the first private warning? Maybe even before the shut down took place?..Maybe during the first week of the shutdown.. No one know if or when McConnell warned Trump. Maybe he didn't. But with this public warning, I believe there was a private warning much earlier, and Trump did not listen.

Roger Stone: I will not testify against the President

Roger Stone just spoke outside of the federal courthouse where he appeared a short time ago in Florida. He proclaimed his innocence, said he is falsely accused and finds the tactics this morning at his house disturbing.

Stone says he will plead not guilty to the charges and believes that they are politically motivated.

He also reinforced that he will not testify against the president.

A crowd gathered outside the courthouse chanted "lock him up" as he spoke to media.

Why is this so much like Watergate? Simple: Trump is a crook too.

...When I watched Watergate 40 years ago, I remember thinking when will they get Nixon. They eventually got Nixon because in the end, he was the head crook who enabled and encouraged the rest of them. The entire group was crooked because Nixon was deep inside "a crook. The attitude was as Dean implied, "anything goes"'(you define "anything.) It is exactly the same. For Trump, "anything goes" just like Nixon. Don't get caught, and "don't squeal on me." But those last 4 words don't work, cause the crooks want less jail time. Also, some of the crooks want to testify to get the top crook. The top crook is an evil crooked person who thinks he can get away with ..."anything." One thing is for certain in my mind, Mueller will get the top crook, one way or another. Why? That is what he has done and is totally experienced in, getting the "top crook."
....Yes, it takes time, one crook at a time. Slow and steady. He moves up the ladder one against another. This one testifies against another and another and another. Slowly over time the top crook and his closest associates are gotten. Therefore, over time, I do think that Mueller will get Trump's sons.. It will not be pretty, but I do believe that is what is in the future. Mueller will get them all.. What a show...

...Time is NOT on Trump's side, Time is on the side of investigators.

...It is quite simple. Time is on the side of those investigating. As more and more information on the criminality of Mr. Trump is established, it will get worse for Mr. Trump. Some people have been indicted and some have been convicted. Some that have been convicted are working with the prosecutor in exposing more criminal behavior with evidence. I believe that time is on the side of those investigating. Mr. Trump does not know what comes next and neither do we. Mr. Mueller and his team are world class with lots of experience and expertise.
...Mr. Trump's experience in government is minimal. Further there is some evidence that Mr. Trump has done little reading and hard work to enlarge his experience. When we get into an important job, we read up and study that job. There is very little to prove that Mr. Trump has given one minute to doing just that. I don't think he gives a damn about learning anything. Mr. Trump thinks he knows it all, when in reality, he know nothing at all.
