Cows In France Fed Fine Red Wine to Improve the Beef
Do you like some red wine with your steak? How about wine in your steak? That's a reality in France, where ranchers have been feeding their cattle red wine, hoping to increase the quality of the beef.
According to the Telegraph, some French cows are guzzling up to two bottles of wine per day. The meat, dubbed Vinbovin, already has plenty of fans, including chefs from top restaurants in Paris who believe the quality exceeds that of standard beef. Initially, Jean-Charles Tastavy mixed the wine with the cattle's feed of barley, hay, and some grapes. The cows seemed to enjoy the wine, and themselves. Thus, the plan to feed more cattle went into action.
But how do you determine how much wine to serve a cow?
Tastavy followed the same guidelines that are recommended for humans. He told London's Telegraph, "For each animal, alcohol intake should be equivalent to the amount recommended by health authorities for a man — namely two or three glasses of wine a day. In the case of cows, this amounts to between a litre and a litre-and-a-half a day."

and where Are all these "plenty of gungeoneers" in this thread? Very few people have posted in this thread so, exactly to whom is this poster referring? I would like to know.
kind of like insulting gun owners as a group, I would think . . .
sort of puts me to mind of Ann Romney with her "you people" phrase . . .
I would also like to know how many is "whole bunch of people" because I really do not see a "whole bunch of people" participating in this thread. Do you?
I would like to see this poster go into any LGBT/fem/religion group and call out "you all"
Wonder how well that would go over in those groups.
