I want to go on record here and now:

1. I do not belong to Pink Pistols.

2. I do not belong to the NRA.

3. I am a registered, voting Democrat.

4. I am a woman who has been a victim of violence.

5. I own a gun and I will use it to defend myself IF necessary.

6. If all this means that I don't belong on DU then, I guess I should deactivate my account.

what happened the other night was due to a bad judgement (imo) by a Host in a protected group.
I had a question within the group, about the group and, was told to come here for the answer where, I and that group were promptly ridiculed.
That question could have easily been answered within the group, by a group member and, would have been had, my original thread in that group
NOT been locked by the only Host of that group.
When that happens, what recourse does a group member have but, to do as told which, I did.

IMO, I had no business asking that question here in the first place.
I was under the impression that groups are protected.
I am beginning to see that this is not always the case.

Once I got my answer it was within my right to shut down that thread and remove any trace of my participation in it,
thus saving myself and that group further piling on and ridiculing by my fellow DUers.

other westernized countries do not have our constitution. WE need to quit being

LAZY and actually get to work on the root reasons as to why criminals have this chosen career.

Also, it has been pointed out in here many times that correalation does not equal causation.

agreed. a very private issue to be determined between a woman and her Doctor.

Funding should be provided if any woman can not provide it.

Nobody should interfere between Dr/patient.
