"Ryan" attempts to explain why Indiana law is bad to holy roller

Comments following article:

Hi Ryan, We do welcome everyone! Honestly! It is completely open to the public. Look this nonsense of calling Christians “haters” or “exclusionist” (or what have you) has got to stop. We don’t hate or exclude anyone! NONE! What we do hate and attempt to exclude is the “act of sin”, not the sinner. All of us are sinners, every single person period. As Romans 3:23 and 24 says “23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through
the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

We also don’t give the “title” of a sin as an “identity”. For example both you and I have at one or many times in our lives have told a lie. You identity is “Ryan” not “Liar”. So we don’t say a person is a sin such as calling them a homosexual, rather we say this is “George” (or whoever), he struggles with sin x. Now having said that, my stance/policy to refrain from taking part of anything that is defined as sinful. This applies to both my personal business as a web developer and the church I attend.

Come on over to the church Ryan, we would love to have you. You would be welcomed with open arms.

Ryan: I think you missed the point. You sell service x. If you are selling x in a storefront open to the general public, whether person j is a flaming homosexual or person w is John Wayne incarnate, they have the right to expect to walk in, buy said service, and be on the way. If you can't handle dealing with person j or person w, follow the Amway model and don't sell to the general public. Private businesses (definition: not open to the public, ie. referrals, established clientele, etc) can discriminate against whoever they want. And let's face it. According to the fable, everyone is a sinner. So everyone else you deal with commits sin, why single gay people out? Personally, I don't really care who buys my products. Funny thing about money. No matter what color my customer is or who they sleep with or what fable they believe in- the money in their pocket is still green. Businesses are to make money. Churches are to spread ideology.

I think you missed my point. The act of a homosexual wedding is the sin. We won't take part in the act.

?

Ryan: Selling the invitations isn't taking part in the act. If little Timmy had a birthday, the fact I swung by your place and picked up cards inviting people to the party doesn't make you in any way, shape or form "part of the event". What is even more hypocritical, is that most of the folks you are talking about would have no problem selling invitations or cakes to a 3rd hetero wedding, which is also a sin. The protections for churches are constitutional, so they have no basis to force their way in to the church. At any rate, you aren't talking about excluding all sinners, just the narrow segment of sinners that you have judged extra sinful. The bottom line: if you can't handle a narrow band of sinners, you shouldn't benefit from the larger pool of sinners that are the general public. Keep your business private, operate under referral/repeat/club, and you can even discriminate against black people too. It would make you happier.

Italy's Epic Treehouse Apartments Fulfill Everyone's Childhood Dreams

Italy's Epic Treehouse Apartments Fulfill Everyone's Childhood Dreams

Treehouses used to be total kid territory, but now adults are taking them over in the coolest housing trend around.

The best example we've seen of these "adult" treehouse apartments is in Turin, Italy, where one apartment building stands out like a green thumb. Designed by architect Luciano Pia, the apartment building is called 25 Verde (which translates to "25 Green&quot . Standing five stories high with 63 rooms, the building lives up to its moniker and looks like a giant, beautiful forest.

According to the property's website, Pia integrated about 150 trees into 25 Verde's eco-friendly design (40 in the courtyard alone), which means less pollution and less noise for residents. The trees absorb harmful toxins put into the air by street cars and even create a "microclimate" during the seasons -- making the apartments cooler during the summer and warmer during the winter. Even the walls "breathe" at 25 Verde, as ventilated walls allow sunlight to stream in during the day time. Tree foliage provides protection from the sun when it gets too harsh. Take a look at some of photos of the beautiful property below.

Parents Required to Sign Permission Slips for Kids to Eat an Oreo

http://www.thedailymeal.com/school-requires-permission-slips-oreo-cookies/32815
Parents of school-age children frequently have to sign permission slips for their children to be allowed to venture off campus or do potentially dangerous things, but this week a mother was instructed that she would have to sign a permission slip for her child to be allowed to eat an Oreo cookie at school.

According to Mommyish, a Pennsylvania school sent a permission slip home with a class of middle school students so parents could consent to their children eating a single Oreo cookie during a project in science class. The permission slip was photographed by one mother, who posted it on Twitter under the handle

The permission slip clarified that the Oreo cookies would be used to simulate geographical movement during science class, and that students with permission would be allowed to eat their Oreos when the experiment was finished. It specifies in no uncertain terms that students will not be forced to eat the Oreos if they do not want to, and the permission slip even included the complete ingredients for a Double-Stuff Oreo cookie, just in case the parents wanted to peruse it.

Roger Moore in race row after saying Elba can't be Bond because he's not 'English English'

Roger Moore in race row after saying Elba can't be Bond because he's not 'English English'

Sir Roger, who played 007 in seven films, was asked by an interviewer about the idea of black actor Idris Elba being cast as 007.

The screen legend, 87, replied: "A few years ago, I said that Cuba Gooding Jnr would make an excellent Bond, but it was a joke!"

"'Although James may have been played by a Scot, a Welshman and an Irishman, I think he should be "English-English," he added.

"Nevertheless, it's an interesting idea, but unrealistic."

It is unclear what Sir Roger defines as "English-English", but The Wire star Idris was born, raised and schooled in England.

Elephant spends 11 hours trying to save baby stuck in well

This is the heart-wrenching moment a mother elephant desperately tried to pull her baby from a well

The determined mum refused to leave her calf, staying with the youngster for 11 hours, first using her trunk and then her feet in a bid to haul her precious baby to safety.

Unfortunately the frantic mother elephant made matters worse by accidentally pushing more mud into the well and almost smothering the baby, which was trapped from 9pm until 8am the following morning.

But thankfully the tiny elephant was eventually freed when people living near the Chatra district in India, where the incident happened, rushed to the scene after hearing the distressed cries.

Cat On The Skylight Is A True Delight

http://m.imgur.com/SS7M07E

Skylights are a double-edged sword.

They basically ensure that you will be woken up by the glaring sun earlier than you'd like to be.

On the plus side, they look cool and sometimes a cat will sit on them.

GOP Congresswoman's Facebook Invitation to Constituents to Share Obamacare Horror Stories Backfires

Congresswoman Cathy McMorris used her Facebook page to solicit Obama care horror stories. This what she got back:

My story is that I once knew 7 people who couldn't get health insurance. Now they all have it, thanks to the ACA and President Obama, and their plans are as good as the one my employer provides--and they pay less for them. Now, that's not the kind of story you want to hear. You want to hear made-up horror stories. I don't know anyone with one of those stories.

I work for cancer care northwest. We actually have more patients with insurance and fewer having to choose treatment over bankruptcy. Cathy, I'm a die hard conservative and I'm asking you to stop just slamming Obamacare. Fix it, change it or come up with a better idea! Thanks

With Obamacare, I saved 300 bucks a month premium.. I have more coverage.. I like ObamaCare and can't wait til we go to the next step... Medicare for ALL.

And now my daughter, diagnosed with MS at age 22, can have insurance. What do you plan to do with her?

My daughter is fighting for her life with stage 3 breast cancer! We are about to enter a second go round of diagnostic procedures and possibly more treatment after two full years of treatment! So yah! The ACA is more than helping! I resent that our rep thinks the only problems involve her personal story!

My whole family now has coverage. The ACA is the cause for this, I work in health care, I have seen the increase in covered patients first hand. The next step is universal coverage, this will truly lower costs and provide the best care. Cathy, you barely work, spend most of your time catering to special interests so you can be re-elected.. All while receiving a large wage and the best health insurance and care. Stop telling us how it doesn't work while enjoying your tax payer funded care and life.

GOP State Rep. Says It's a 'Really Great Party' If You Witness Rape on Campus

GOP State Rep. Says It's a 'Really Great Party' If You Witness Rape on Campus
Connecticut Rep. Mike Bocchino made some truly tasteless comments about campus sexual assault.

In Connecticut, lawmakers are debating a measure to define consent with respect to college sexual assault that would help prevent rapes on campus. GOP state Rep. Mike Bocchino objected by saying that there are no witnesses to rape, and if there are, it's a “really great party”:

“No question that sexual assault is a horrific thing. No question that date rape things that happen on college campuses are disgusting. Because at the end of the day, there are no witnesses…or at least if there are, it’s a really great party.”

Connecticut Democrats, through a spokesperson, have called on Bocchino to apologize: “I assume that it was an attempt at humor, but Rep. Bocchino should know better — and his constituents elected him to know better. Campus sexual assault is not a joke. It affects both genders, but up to one in five female students are victims. It’s a serious problem, and I hope Rep. Bocchino publicly apologize for his distasteful and offensive comment.”

suspect in sexual assault on sleeping subway rider caught 2.5yrs later

The attack on Lopez takes a page out of the ongoing trend where bystanders opt to film an unraveling incident rather than assist the victim.

http://q13fox.com/2015/03/26/suspect-in-subway-sexual-assault-caught-on-video-is-arrested-2-12-years-later/
NEW YORK (PIX11) — It was the sex assault in October 2012 that shocked many. A young woman falls asleep on a subway train only to fall victim to a pervert.

Instead of helping, a fellow strap-hanger captures the attack on video and it eventually surfaces online.

The victim of the attack was college student Elisa Lopez, who later learns of her own attack when she sees the video on YouTube.

“It’s been difficult, you know,” Lopez told PIX11 News Monday. “The normal stuff that comes with trauma, the constant fear that comes with all that – it’s still there.”

Over two years later, justice finally gets served in the case. Last Thursday, the suspect identified by the New York Police Department as 43-year-old Carlos Chuva was arrested. The Queens man was reportedly charged with first-degree aggravated sexual abuse.

court rules on racist cupcakes w massive genitals:'obscene' cakes were violation of 'human dignity'"

A French bakery has been banned from selling a variety of cupcake because they’re ‘racist’.

The ‘obscene’ goods depict black men and women with large private parts.

A court in the French Riviera heard how the cakes were an ‘attack on human dignity’, reports Le Parisien.

But baker Tannick Tavolaro has stressed he is not racist and did not intend to cause any upset with his goods.

He said: ‘It’s absurd and hurtful. These pastries have absolutely no racial connotation at all.

‘It’s made of chocolate mousse, which is why it’s black. The characters are little human beings, a man and woman but not a black man and a woman.’
