"Checking out" ... you mean looking at . Nothing stolen so no story. If you leave your bedroom in a mess with all you stuff lying around, house keeping will likely look at it and pick it up. Grow up and stop whingeing.
As well as giving the TV a dust down, cleaning the bathroom and changing the sheets, the housekeeper began digging through the guest's personal belongings.
The woman had a close look at a package that the guest had delivered before moving on to examine his games console, a PS3, and the games with it.

Youngstown crews rescue dog after 3 days on roof
Dozens gathered outside 303 S. Jackson St. at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday to watch as Youngstown firefighters, police and the Mahoning County dog warden rescued a dog that had been stuck on the roof for three days.
Neighbors called to report a Rottweiler had escaped from a hole in the attic of a three-story home on South Jackson Street three days ago. Christopher Gonzalez, 20, who lives across the street from the 303 S. Jackson St. residence, said he saw the dog stuck a few days ago.
“It sounded like they took the call as a joke at first,” Gonzalez said. “I called a last time this morning since that dog seems like it’s really struggling, and finally everybody’s here.”
After about an hour, Kyle Trimble, a firefighter, carried the dog to safety with the help of others. D’Andre Berger, the dog’s owner, arrived to the scene in the middle of the rescue, explaining he had been staying at a friend’s house the past week. He said the South Jackson Street residence had been broken into this week.
The dog warden said at the scene that the dog would not be released to the owner, as Berger did not have a license to own the dog.

Cory Rosenkranz, coordinator of Substance Abuse & Violence Prevention at Ramapo College, has caused quite a stir after her presentation on sexual assault that students and faculty claimed was too focused on victims’ responsibilities. A student who attended the presentation told The Ramapo News:
“She was saying that women need to watch their body language and that women should practice how they articulate their face [in a social setting] by practicing in the mirror.”

Depressing to watch
The odds lengthened as they watched, because potential residents were given priority in the order in which they were drawn. By the time No. 295 came up everyone could do the math. Even if you were the next name called, you’d be in line behind almost 300 others. Some left. Some slumped in their seats. A toddler fussed. A man began aimlessly banging his fist on his thigh.
For all the momentum of the economic boom, and the political good intentions, these people — families with children, seniors, young couples — can’t find a place to live, even if they have jobs and a steady income.
It is important to point out that these are not people looking for free public housing. Anderson, who says she once rented an apartment on Russian Hill for $1,200 a month before leaving the city, said she could afford to pay as much as $1,500 a month.
“Which is not that unreasonable in most places,” she said. “But I think of housing like it is an elevator that just keeps going up and off. If you ever get off you can’t get back on.”

Today her family praised hospital staff and said the loving farewell gave Mrs Marsh comfort in her final hours.
Hospital bosses arranged for the horse to be transported to Wigan Royal Infirmary after Mrs Marsh's condition deteriorated.
'I was crying my eyes out and all the nurses were crying too,' said her daughter Tina, aged 33 years.
