Florida newspaper: Marco Rubio should show up or resign

arco Rubio should resign from the U.S. Senate and stop "ripping off" the people of Florida, according to the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel newspaper editorial board.

"By choosing to stay in the Senate and get the publicity, perks and pay that go with the position — without doing the work — you are taking advantage of us," the paper wrote in an editorial published Tuesday. "Your job is to represent Floridians in the Senate. Either do your job, Sen. Rubio, or resign it."

The Sun Sentinel said Rubio is being paid $174,000 with taxpayer money to do a job he is not doing -- while he is criticizing others for doing the same thing.

"Two weeks ago, you took to the Senate floor to excoriate federal workers at the Department of Veterans Affairs for failing to do their jobs. You said, 'there is really no other job in the country where if you don't do your job, you don't get fired,'" the paper added. "With the exception of your job, right?"

The scandal-plagued Duggar family is linked to Hobby Lobby Stores founder, David Green, who is under FBI investigation for customs violations, falsifying documents, and the unauthorized export of antiquities.

In an exclusive report released today, David Green has been under FBI investigation since 2011 “for the illicit importation of cultural heritage from Iraq.” The year 2011 is the year U.S. troops left Iraq and insurgents moved in, who often sold antiquities for funding and for providing operating capital to ISIS.

The first shipment investigated was destined for a Hobby Lobby warehouse and was illegally shipped from Israel via FedEx. It contained hundreds of priceless, ancient cuneiform tablets. The shipment was fraudulently labeled “hand-crafted clay tiles” with a declared value of about $300.

Ferrari bursts into flames at gas station, drives itself away

a ferrari owner says his car burst into flames at a Northern California gas station and then rolled away on its own, avoiding a major explosion.

Al Cui told KNTV-TV he was pumping gas into his Ferrari at a gas station in Martinez on Sunday night when it suddenly caught fire.

On Monday morning, Donald Trump appeared at a New Hampshire "Town Hall" moderated by NBC's Matt Lauer. When an attendee asked the real estate mogul if he'd ever been told "no," Trump replied by detailing a life of hardship involving a mere million dollar loan from his dad, a problem that must be all-too-familiar to struggling Americans.

"My whole life really has been a ‘no.’ And I fought through it," Trump said.



"It has not been easy for me," he said. "I started off in Brooklyn. My father gave me a small loan of a million dollars. I came into Manhattan, and I had to pay him back. And I had to pay him back with interest. But I came into Manhattan. I started buying up properties, and I did great."


When Lauer pointed out that starting out with a million dollars might not seem too difficult to most Americans, Trump's ego remained unscathed.
