pnwmom's JournalHRC says "hell no" to apologizing to Trump. Jeb sides with Trump.
So there you have it. The Rethug establishment would rather prop up even Trump than risk Hillary.

"Hell no. Hillary Clinton will not be apologizing to Donald Trump for correctly pointing out how his hateful rhetoric only helps ISIS recruit more terrorists," Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said Monday afternoon.
Earlier Monday, Trump demanded that Clinton apologize to him for her comment.
"I will demand an apology from Hillary," Trump said Monday on NBC's "The Today Show." "I will demand an apology from Hillary, she should apologize. She lies about emails, she lies about Whitewater, she lies about everything. She will be a disaster as President of the United States."
Clinton made the claim during Saturday night's Democratic debate, but a spokeswoman later said they did not have a specific video of ISIS using clips of Trump disparaging Muslims, but instead pointed to social media comments from ISIS recruiters. CNN's Reality Check Team also found there was nothing to support Clinton's claim of an ISIS video showing Trump.

The exchange even drew Jeb Bush to Trump's side for one, fleeting moment Monday.
How come Bernie's campaign manager and everyone else failed to inform BERNIE of the data breach?
Isn't that inexcusable? That Bernie had to learn about it 24 hours later from Debbie Wasserman?
Imagine his shock. I'm surprised that whoever knew and didn't tell him is still working for him.
NY Gov. Cuomo to seek out and pardon thousands of youthful offenders.
Every governor should follow his example. But I think he should do it after a much shorter period of time -- maybe 5 years.

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo of New York said on Sunday that he would seek out and pardon thousands of people who were convicted of nonviolent crimes as teenagers but have since led law-abiding lives.
Envisioned as a way to remove stubborn barriers to employment, housing and other services, the pardons would be available to anyone who was found guilty of a nonviolent felony or misdemeanor that was committed while they were 16 or 17, provided they have spent at least a decade without any additional convictions. Under his plan, Mr. Cuomo intends to invite those people to apply for and virtually be assured of receiving a governors pardon, as long as they meet several other criteria.
In a phone interview, Mr. Cuomo, a Democrat, said his plan would provide second chances to generations of once-youthful offenders who had long since abandoned their criminal lives but continue to be dogged by their criminal pasts.
Its a way to help people get on with their life, said Mr. Cuomo, adding that his plan would act as a reward for good behavior and a chance at redemption. When youre young you can make a mistake, and maybe you dont have to carry the burden for your entire life.
Shame on you, ABC! Hillary was late coming back to the debate
because the only available ladies room was a lot further from the stage. And ABC knew it. But they couldnt wait even a minute for Hillary to return from her long trek to the ladies after the break.
Instead, ABC decided to focus its camera on her empty podium and announce that they were going forward without her as if her presence didnt matter. As if it didnt matter if she heard the question and response being given by another candidate. As if it was her fault.
And shame on everyone here who instantly judged Hillary, claiming she was looking for attention, that she was pulling a stunt, showing distain for the debate process, engaged in debate theater, or making a grand entry.
Ladies, she could have been any one of us.(Except that most of us have never stood on a national stage for more than two hours, trying to drink enough water to keep our throats hydrated, while having to worry about how long it would take us to get to the bathroom.)
Old buildings all over the country were built during an era when architects included fewer restrooms for women than men, because women werent expected to be using them much. Women were supposed to be at home taking care of children, not at the ABC studio or in the Senate.
It was only in the 80s when researchers with stopwatches conducted studies proving that women need more restrooms than men because on the average they need twice as much time as men to use the facilities. (A woman using a bathroom stall has many more actions to take than a man using a urinal. Plus women are more likely to wash their hands -- and to use soap.)
But old building codes werent designed for the modern era and so it is still harder for women to deal with basic bathroom needs than it is for men. Hillary, of course, would be used to this. The Senate is notorious for its lack of ladies rooms, with women often having to attend to their physical needs on a different floor from their office.
Bathrooms are a feminist issue, because the lack of adequate bathrooms can prevent women from engaging as equal partners in the public sphere. This was proven once again on Saturday.

Not a lot of wiggle room.
With the mens room significantly closer to the debate stage, Mrs. Clintons male opponents, Bernie Sanders and Martin OMalley, made it back quicker and, well, it takes women longer, as Mrs. Clinton pointed out after returning slightly late from a commercial break during the first Democratic debate in Las Vegas.
But on Saturday, the ABC News hosts, tied to the schedule of live TV, proceeded with their questioning about the economy with an empty podium awaiting Mrs. Clinton. Sorry, she deadpanned when she finally took her place.
Aides said they had been concerned during the walk through before the debate that the ladies room was such a schlep. The campaigns vice chairwoman, Huma Abedin, had timed the distance to and from the podium and expressed concerns to organizers, but the gymnasium setting meant there were no closer options. She relayed to Mrs. Clinton that she would have to be speedy, said several aides involved in debate planning.

The Everyday Sexism of Women Waiting in Public Toilet Lines
If youre a woman, chances are youve a) spent time fidgeting in a long line waiting to use a public toilet, b) delayed a bodily function because you dont want to or havent the time to waste standing in line to use a public toilet, c) considered sneaking into a mens roomillegal in some places, or d) cursed loudly because of all of the above.
Faced with a long restroom line that spiraled up and around a circular stairwell at a recent museum visit, I opted not to wait. Why do we put up with this? This isnt a minor pet peeve, but a serious question. Despite years of potty parity laws, women are still forced to stand in lines at malls, schools, stadiums, concerts, fair grounds, theme parks, and other crowded public spaces. This is frustrating, uncomfortable, and, in some circumstances, humiliating. Its also a form of discrimination, as it disproportionately affects women.
Shortest Miss Universe reign ever -- they crowned the wrong one. Oops!
I'm not a fan of beauty contests but I can't help but feel sorry for Miss Columbia. They should figure out some way to compensate her.

George Lucas gifts $10 mil for black/hispanic students at USC film school
http://urbanintellectuals.com/2015/10/30/george-lucas-gifts-10-million-to-black-hispanic-students-at-uscs-film-school-amid-racist-star-wars-backlash/The trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered recently with many racist gushing at the opportunity to express their displeasure over too many black and people of color in the film. Obviously, they wish for an all white future of mankind, even if it is a fictional series that has always had black lead characters. You know reality has no place in the mind of racist.
Unphased, Lucas decided to dip into his George Lucas Family Foundation to make a donation. The $10 million dollar endowment will support the recruitment and talent of African Americans and Hispanic students from underrepresented areas to USC School of Cinematic Arts.
I saw a comment online somewhere yesterday that cracked me up.
Some young guy saying he wasn't interested in Hillary Clinton because she reminded him too much of his MOTHER.
Well guess what, young guy: since I've been your age, I've been looking at candidates that reminded me of my father. Or grandfather. Or uncle. Or brother.
For the first time EVER, there is a real possibility that young men might have to swallow the idea of a President who reminds them of their mother.
Deal with it.
Amy Dacey, DNC CEO, says Sanders staffer: tried to delete notes . . . to hide his activities.
So Sanders's firing of Uretsky wasn't an overreaction -- he has behaved very well throughout all of this -- and what these staffers were doing was purposeful and wrong.
From a blog post yesterday, here are some of her key points:
The problem was caused by a new software patch with a coding error. But viewing the proprietary information wasnt an accident: it took "deliberate steps."
And, despite what a frequently posted Snopes article says, Dacey reports that a staffer generated reports and exported them from the system.
None of this is in dispute. Its fully documented in the system logs.
Since their initial analysis showed that data had probably been removed during the breach, they temporarily suspended the Sanderss campaign access to ensure the integrity of the system.
And, a new fact that directly contradicts Uretskys story about being white hats: one staffer tried to cover his tracks:

It is hard to figure out what the rules are and why O'Malley is getting less time.
Or at least that's how it appears to me.
Bickering? Martin's prepared speech showed he wasn't listening, because Bernie and Hillary
weren't bickering.
But, earlier, I thought O'Malley's opening statement was excellent.
