Stage 2 at about the 140 km mark.
Last night, we had dinner at the safest hotel in France, since it was where the medical team was apparently housed:
We settled in with the cows and a couple of bottles of $5 Bordeaux!.
After the crazy parade (the nutty circus-like promotional caravan which precedes the race), and Sylvain Chavanel's spectacular solo breakaway, we got an extra surprise tucked inside the peloton....
