Why should the president be restricted from emollients?

I've seen lots of posts here about how Trump is violating the ban on emollients in the Constitution.

While younger, healthier skin probably wasn't a big deal when the Constitution was written, we've since learned that moisturizing after weather and sun exposure can go a long way toward preventing premature aging and skin disease.

Here's what the National Eczema Society says:

http://www.eczema.org/emollients

Emollients are non-cosmetic moisturisers which come in the form of creams, ointments, lotions and gels. Emollients help skin to feel more comfortable and less itchy. They keep the skin moist and flexible, helping to prevent cracks.

If the president wants to use emollients, then I just don't understand the problem.

Choice nuggets from those people we need to understand

For those who engage in some Shadenfreep from time to time, collect your gems here.

This one comes from a gentleman who has a deep understanding of democracy and the rule of law:

To: patriotfury
What is coming is going to require Trump to declare a state of emergency and drop a MOAB on Congress.

This is a full blown coup attempt by hundreds of conspirators in government (elected and unelected) and the press.

These MF’s need to be rounded up and imprisoned/ executed, just like anywhere else in the world.

REAL AMERICANS WITH YOU 1000 PERCENT PRESIDENT TRUMP, SMASH THE COMMUNIST/ OLIGARCH CONSPIRACY!!!!

The cherry on top of that sundae is pondering what the esteeemed correspondent means to suggest by the phrase “just like anywhere else in the world”. Now, I am certainly aware that there are places in the world where, yes, it is conceivable that “hundreds of conspirators in government (elected and unelected) and the press“ might be summarily mass executed. Nambia, or perhaps Ubekibekibekistan - the faraway places with strange sounding names.

But this gentleman may have failed to appreciate that, generally speaking and recognizing that tastes may vary, many Americans have had a longstanding preference not to be such a place where one would not find such governance procedures unusual.

****Official DU Indictment Betting Pool*****

You cannot say "I told you so" later unless you post it here first.

The subject of the indictment is _________

I'm going with Michael Cohen. He's an under-appreciated scumbag, and more likely than either Flynn or Manafort to have attempted to take pre-emptive defensive countermeasures which only will dig him in deeper.

Here's a puzzler - re: the Papini kidnapping in California

This just in:

Remember that story a while back about the woman in California found handcuffed by the side of the road?

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/fbi-releases-sketches-suspects-sherri-papini-case-article-1.3588812

Sherri Papini claims women kidnapped her, despite having male DNA on her clothes when found

What she has said is that she was kidnapped by two women. The DNA tests found evidence of contact with one woman and one man.

This opens up a number of possibilities, but the police have also released the composite sketches based on her description of the two women.

The two women, according to her, looked like this:

Ummmm...... Anyone have a theory about how one of those women might have had male DNA?

This is a full auto weapon - and why the ATF didn't challenge bump fire stocks in the first place

The device shown in this picture is a full auto weapon:

Pulling the ring on the back will cause the action of the bolt to squeeze the trigger each time a new round is chambered.

As is chronicled here:

There are innumerable simple ways to cause any semi-automatic weapon to repeat the firing action in such a manner that successive manual trigger actions are not required.

I'm actually surprised the "Are you going to ban string" contingent did not march in the usual gun fancier parade behind the Girandoni rifle brigade this time.
