Why is it that the US has the shortest memory and attention span? We are not unique or special. There is nothing new under the sun.

It wasn't until the late 1880's that medicine finally figured out that how Tuberculosis was spread. Up until then, it was thought to be a family disease.
After germ theory was finally accepted, people were sequestered into sanatoriums and stayed there until they died.
All Seniors and everyone with medical conditions need to fill out a File of Life
Have y'all heard of these? It is vital information for first responders as to what medication you take, your physicians name, allergies, even your pets names so that first responders know that there are pets in the home. You put one at each door, where the first responders can see them. Like my house, we have skinny windows by the first door, and they fit perfectly inside the window.
