Elizabeth Warren Goes All Foreign Policy on Iran Sanctions Bill
&cfs=1&sx=0&sy=8&sw=615&sh=321
Elizabeth Warren an unyielding progressive on economic issues does not often make headlines in the foreign policy department. However, today she made waves by coming out strongly against the Iran sanctions bill which threatens to derail President Obama's diplomatic progress.
Warren made her position clear in a letter to constituents, which was described by Warren's spokesperson Lacy Rose in the following way:
Senator Warren believes we must exhaust every effort to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through diplomacy, and she does not support imposing additional sanctions through new legislation while diplomatic efforts to achieve a long-term agreement are ongoing.
Warren broke her silence today along with Senator Patty Murray, who as part of the Senate Democratic leadership proved that a definite rift within the Democratic Party on the sanctions bill exists a rift which may prevent the bill coming up for a vote.

How liberal/progressive vs. centrist do you think President Obama would be if he could be?
Okay we all agree that no politician can get all their agenda through - Some maintain that President Obama would be a lot more progressive if he had the Congress and other political forces on his side. Others maintain that he really is a centrist, at best a center-left centrist - but perhaps even a somewhat center-right centrist. What do you think?
Huffington Post Travel: Saipan: The Most Beautiful Place In America You've Never Heard Of (PHOTOS)
since I have lived here for the past two and a half years - I thought I would do a little promotionIndeed again, as everyone who's lived there can tell you, most mainland Americans don't know any of that. Regrettably, the ones who do are probably aware of the island -- which is in Micronesia, just north of Guam, south of Japan, east of the Philippines and west of Hawaii -- due to its tainted reputation stemming from a political scandal involving a certain Texan who later appeared on Dancing With The Stars.
Certainly, life on a tropical islandhas problems, as does life anywhere. Sometimes, like with that dancing Texan, it's just that the problems are a little more unusual.
But know this: at least in Saipan, you'll experience those unusual problems in a setting that is quite spectacularly beautiful, with beaches, scuba diving, golf, festivals, hiking, history, wildlife (some of which has been eaten into near-extinction, much of which hasn't), still more beaches, a charmingly weird mascot and year-round temperatures in the 80s

Do you agree with the death penalty under ANY circumstances in the United States? Do you agree with
life in prison at hard labor under harsh conditions without ANY CHANCE of parole EVER?
How to torment fast food workers
Most fast food workers and most telemarketers make about the same amount of money - Telemarketers can be annoying - no doubt - And no doubt fast food workers are for the most part peddling unhealthy - cardiac disease causing and carcinogenic poison masquerading as food. Both groups are clearly people who made the wrong life choices to end up at the bottom of the barrel.
Since there have been a number of suggestions of how to torment one group of people at the very bottom of the social economic spectrum - perhaps people have some suggestions about how to go on the offensive against this other group of harmful parasites.

Swift Boat Veterans For Truth Clear John Kerry After Exhaustive 9-Year Investigation
to be perfectly honest - Christie performed well and will PROBABLY live to fight another day
When President Obama blew it during the first debate - I upset some people by admitting that - even though nothing would have made me happier than if that had not been the case. Given that Governor Christie could be a viable Republican nominee for President in 2016 who would have a fair chance of winning - nothing would make me happier than seeing him going down in flames now. But as of now - after this press conference - he is not looking that bad. And I suspect a lot of the mainstream media will give him the benefit of the doubt. Now this could all come undone if some members of his staff feel betrayed and are not willing to fall on their swords and/or some material evidence does emerge that clearly and concretely proves Gov. Christie was personally involved in this affair,
Christie has started speaking just now -
