The Black Agenda report on the Court Ruling Re: the Internet:

Article by Bruce A. Dixon
US Court of Appeals: The Internet is a Plantation, With Comcast, Verizon, AT&T Its Masters
(and us users as the slaves)

From the article:

This is one of those ground breaking, those earth shaking moments that reveal how capitalism works, how greedy corporations have captured the media, the courts and the other two bipartisan branches of government in these United States. This ruling is anything but a surprise. It's what the telecom companies have demanded for years, and what the administrations of President Bush and Obama alike seem determined to give them.

President Obama did campaign declaring he would take a back seat to nobody in fighting for network neutrality. The White House has occasionally, though increasingly feebly renewed that pledge. But Obama's first FCC chief was Julius Genakowski, a former telecom lobbyist who wrote the 1990s laws privatizing the internet backbone, which was built with taxpayer dollars, giving it to telecom companies like Comcast and AT&T for pennies on the dollar.

Under this notorious privatizer, the FCC did almost nothing to assert the public right, to advance the public demand for a free and open internet, to head off this disastrous ruling of corporate rights over public property which was clearly in the pipeline. It's not the first time this or any president or Congress has campaigned on the public interest, but governed in the corporate interest, and telecom companies are always big campaign contributors.

Shocking Documentary - How You Are being Mind Controlled and Don't Know It -

This video is a product of North Korea, but there are many ideas presented in it that I can't find myself disagreeing with.

The title is not my choice, but forum rules of the Video forum state the title must read as it is at YouTube.

I want to point out - this video needs a GRAPHIC WARNING.

So FCC can shut down the open internet. My Question:

As Pay for Play becomes the established policy, what will happen to people who're paying their local cable, but neighbors are using it for their Wi Fi computer connection?

This happens all the time in Big Cities. I have known of several people, who once they lost their jobs, realized they could simply Wi Fi off the neighbors in the skyscraper above them. This allows them to use the internet to continue using their email accounts, look for jobs, keep up their porno viewing, participate in political blogs like this one, etc. All without their paying a dime...

Doesn't the new policy mean that millions of Americans will suddenly realize, via their increased cable bill, that they have had their cable access "borrowed" or stolen?

Here in Calif., those of us in the know understand that

Back during the tale end of Summer 2010, Gov Schwartzenegger went to The President with hat in hand, and asked for a goddamn 20 billion dollar loan, and the President had Geithner tell all 37 million of us that that loan would add to the deficit.

Yet military spending that was in the form of aid to foreign nations ended up being over 55 billions of dollars during the same time period.

So then Californians, buoyed by Schwartzennegger (R) and Mark Leno (Democrat) who had put together a piece of state legislation that stated the police must not indict or penalize any Californian caught with six ounces of weed or less, we Californians embraced the HB 420 and really started in with marijuana. And people also began growing the dope needed for medical marijuana clinics. And running dispensaries.

All this was so successful that by 2012, we were hearing that some 125 millions of dollars was ending up in state coffers as tax on the product. The "grow the needed weed" program was becoming a success! People were staffing the dispensaries, were growing th product, were acting as couriers for the product, and of course as it was a local effort, all of this trickled outwards so that cafes, and car lots an furniture stores, and more saw some economic salvation come about.

So what happens then? Naturally, rather than let us restore the economy ourselves, Obama had the goon squads led by Eric Holder shut down dispensaries, and arrest dispensary owners. (No money for economic measure, but for prison, plenty of moulah!) Over 8,000 well paying jobs at dispensaries have been lost.

And now an update about Cambodia:

We Americans all remember Cambodia.

Back in the late seventies, over four million people died at the hands of Pol Pot and the brigades of young people he controlled. Entire populations were forced from the cities and towns where they lived, to work endlessly in fields, and to randomly be selected for removal from the population.

A movie was made about the catastrophe: "The Killing Fields."

However most Americans do not realize that since 1998, a diabolical dictator named Hun Sen has ruled the nation.

He is a friend to the Globalist Corporations and helps them attain the unsafe working conditions and the low wages they require for the textile industry to operate inside Cambodia. Hun Sen also is most probably the person behind armed attacks on people trying to politically create a viable campaign to oust him from his position of power. Dying or being wounded from grenade attacks, or AK 47 sniper attacks, are both possible realities if you are a dissident opposed to Hun Sen.

"Even more recently, garment factory workers gathered many times to protest against their abominable work conditions. All they were asking for was 120 $ a month. What Hun Sen had to say to this was no, his government only offering a mere 90 $ a month to the people literally dying while making your clothes."

Just about a week ago, "the garment workers and the people protesting for freedom became one, against one enemy, Hun Sen."

But then, "on January the 3rd, Hun Sen once again crossed the line when his army opened fire on the garment workers protesters, with real ammunition, shooting to kill with AK-47s."

The plot thickens - dead woman in hospital stairwell -

So this week, KRON-TV in San Francisco has been carrying the story of all the emails relating to how the Administration and staff at San Francisco General Hospital were annoyed by and/or amused by family members of Lynne Spalding as the family was insisting that the hospital look for, and locate their missing relative.

This crime occurred back in September/October 2013.

http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Body-Found-at-SF-General-Is-Missing-Woman-Lynne-Spalding-227095731.html

Seventeen days after a 57-year-old patient disappeared San Francisco General Hospital, the county coroner confirmed late Wednesday that the body found in a stairwell this week was that of Lynne Spalding.

According to KRON-TV's broadcasts earlier this week of January 7th 2014, the Hospital Administrator told the Spalding family that staff would be required to look for her, and they told the family all stairwells would be searched. However, it turns out that since there was no money for overtime for the search, the staff did not do a thorough job of looking.

And in fact, the stairwell where the woman's dead body was found had not been part of the search.

Emails from staff revealed that the hospital staff callously considered the family's request for a search to be the result of one woman family member's hysteria. And the staff told each other that the woman had discharged herself, and was probably at home! All of this was accompanied by requisite smiley faces and LOL's.

It seems that although we are now in the 21st Century, we have hospitals that don't bother to use the latest technology. You enter a hospital, you have to put on one of those annoying plastic ID bracelets. Why those bracelets can't have a GPS locator inside them, I don't know. We have friggin' RFID chips inside our consumer electronics, yet we don't have them on hospital patients?

For the Spalding family, Lynne's boyfriend and other friends, to have to consider that her last hours on earth were spent alone inside the cold and forbidding environment of a hospital stairwell, possibly trying to make someone, anyone, aware of how she was trapped inside of said stairwell, with her eventually succumbing to dehydration - well, there simply are no words.

The Video You Need to See Before You Spend Another Minute Arguing About HC

Health Care.

This happened during the Bush Administration, but it appears that the pernicious type of influence wielded by Big Pharma that happened then continues now. Which is why under the ACA we cannot import our prescription drugs from Canada.

This video demonstrates the entire political process that allowed Big Pharma to win everything it wanted in terms of MediCare and Prescription Drugs:
