You're absolutely right. But...

Welfare and food stamps are needed by many because they are single mothers of four or they lost their job when the company moved labor overseas. Real needs.

The abuse of food stamps and welfare is not by the people anywhere near the levels claimed.

The abuse is by the corporations that pay so little that employed people need food stamps and welfare to live.

It's a subsidy so Walmart investors can make a killing.

Fox News: Obamacare is just the redistribution of wealth!

No one on Fox News is against the redistribution of wealth. Not one of them.

They are against changing the direction of the redistribution.

When I was a kid, we were asked to roll our sleeves up to support the local paper mill's union.

I was in a public grade school and our dress code required button down shirts. There was no rule against rolling our sleeves up and the teachers never objected.

I still roll my sleeves up today.

Bring Assad to justice. Don't kill innocent civilians!

Bringing the people responsible to justice is different than bombing Syria.

Syrians are mostly good people. Collateral Damage is just not right.

Bombing Syria is wrong.

Bombing Syrians is more important than jobs in America.

I'm sorry but, collateral damage really bothers me. Killing Syrians in the name of justice (or whatever) is not right. One or two Syrians brought to justice for the atrocities is much different than bombing Syria. We need to get our priorities straight. Syrians are people. People deserve better.

Americans are our people. The same money that is going to bomb Syrians (some good innocent people are going to die if we do this) would be better spent creating jobs for Americans.

If America was a true example of a great nation, then we could teach by example. We used to but, we lost that.

Give Americans a strong economy and a solid middle class and then we can change the world.

Right now we have become a joke. We are lead by leaders that care only about themselves.

Our nation is broke and it has nothing to do with economics.

It's a sad time for America.
