I saw Christopher Green for another date to see the Ohio State Buckeyes unfortunately lose by a hair.
I am very upset, because I have seen he has posted things in here. What in the world is going on? It is hurtful to see that - I think you all know how much I would love if he could post in Facebook or anything. But how?
I am going for the Oscars, because we love to watch it, me more than Chris. I asked him if he wanted me to come for it and he did. Another date!
He had a bronchoscopy and they also took a biopsy of his new lungs on Friday. He has had a high temp last weekend and they haven't been able to find out why.
From me, CaliforniaPeggy: I think she's upset because she knows he used to post on Facebook and now he can't. His fingers just aren't working well enough.

Today, I got an email invitation to have lunch with Sherrod Brown...
along with probably every other Democrat in Los Angeles!
Should I go?
I'd love to meet him...but. What to wear, should I bring my checkbook or credit card...who will be there.....etc.
Any suggestions will be welcome!

Chris and I had a date tonight to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes basketball game. I was incredibly late because the I 90 was closed at Columbia, Clague and Hilliard. It took me forever to get there. It worked out ok; Chris was tired and sleeping when I got there and the first half was not the best for the Bucs. They sure came back in the second half, though! They won 64 to 46.
Chris is doing ok; his blood pressure was good all day, as it was low yesterday. Baby steps.

Yesterday, Valentine's Day, Chris was moved to a step-down unit! He is in better spirits. He is in a single room and it is much like a normal hospital room. The biggest news is that Chris can have visitors, not just family! Boy, did his face light up when I told him. He is in Building G, floor 9, Unit 91, bed #20. He would love to see you all!
This is a big step, and one I know he is overjoyed to have!

Chris has improved on many levels. He would be moved to step-down, but the beds are limited and filled. The doctor told us that they can just do the same things in the ICU that they do in step-down, so he won't lose any time. He sat in a chair today for two hours. When we went today, he was tired, but visited with everyone. Nothing can keep his humor down. His facial expressions are priceless. Again, thank you all so much!

Chris moved to another ICU (J 5 4) because there were so many transplants. Thank you so much to the people that want to donate their organs.
Chris is doing better. He is making jokes, which requires a lot of creativity when you can't talk! He has started physical therapy. We are kissing hello and goodbye. Thanks again for all the prayers, well wishes and good thoughts sent his way! It is all working!
I (CaliforniaPeggy) also want to add that his fever/infection vanished when a drainage bag was removed from his chest. So that's way better as well.
