Recently I was told I have a tumor on my parotid salivary gland....

Wonderful.

My ENT doc said he would have it biopsied so we would know what we're dealing with.

That happened last week..........and now I know.

Well, I talked to my cardiologist today...

He is not only very smart, but he knows how to listen. He is also a lovely person with a warm sense of humor. I picked him out of all the cardiologists I knew back when I was working in the hospital, and I have never regretted it.

So, today I had another shorter episode of irregular heartbeats along with some near-fainting sensations. I was at home, and alone. And I was scared. So, I called his office.

I talked to his nurse, and explained how this was nearly a repeat of what had happened Saturday, and that I wanted to talk to him.

A little over an hour later, he called me back. I gave him the scoop.

He told me he wants to check my blood levels of various drugs and chemicals, and he also wants me monitored on a 24-hour Holter Monitor. I've done those before and they're easy.

So tomorrow I get some fasting blood work done, and the monitor glued to me for 24 hours.

Then we'll see what to do next.
