Well...It looks like the guilty party IS my gall bladder...

I went back to the clinic today, and was examined very thoroughly by a new doctor. He stuck his fingers up under my right side ribs, and OUCH.

The left side, not so much.

Classic, he said. My labs are all OK.

So. Tomorrow at the crack of dawn, (6:30 am, PDT) I will be at the diagnostic center, preparing to have an ultrasound of my offending gall bladder.

That information will allow me and my doc to decide what happens next.......we shall see.

Your continuing vibes will be most helpful as well as greatly appreciated!

**Vibes, if you would**

I've never had a gall bladder attack, until now..........and they suck!

Pain, nausea, some vomiting........yuck.

The pain's really getting me down. I took half a vicodin, but the pain's still here.

So, if you would, some patented Lounge vibes...

Thanks.

If you got to have dinner with Obama...

I know we all have questions we'd love to ask...

I keep getting these emails urging me to apply so I could eat dinner or lunch with him. So far, I've resisted.

Of course, my chances are infinitesimally small.

But what if I were able to go?

I'd love to ask the hard questions: the ones about marijuana, about opening the North Sea for oil drilling, about the Keystone Pipeline, and so on.

Would you ask them?

I'd sure be tempted...

A question for the computer experts:

Last night, my computer was running VERY slowly, even more slowly than usual.

It has been a while since I'd done a search/scan for computer viruses, so I decided to do a couple...

After all was said and done, the machine ran much more quickly.....really normally.

Here's the weird part, the part I don't get:

Neither scan found anything.

The scans never find anything, but the computer always runs better after I do one.

Why is that?

My Eclipse Photos

The first ones are early in the eclipse; the last ones are late, with the moon near its maximum.
