PELOSI WARNS TRUMP IMPEACHMENT WILL BE 'IRONCLAD,' SAYS HOUSE ALREADY HAS ENOUGH EVIDENCE

NANCY PELOSI WARNS DONALD TRUMP IMPEACHMENT WILL BE 'IRONCLAD,' SAYS HOUSE ALREADY HAS ENOUGH EVIDENCE

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she believes there is already enough evidence to justify moving forward with the impeachment of President Donald Trump over his Ukraine conduct.

The House is due to vote Thursday on a resolution that formalizes the current impeachment inquiry, setting out its scope and terms. Republican lawmakers had accused Democrats of mishandling the inquiry by not putting it to a vote.

Trump allegedly pressured Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to open potentially damaging and spurious investigations into the Democratic Party and former Vice President Joe Biden, a leading candidate for the 2020 nomination, for his own political benefit.

"When we decide if we are going to go forward, we will be ready, and we will be ironclad," Pelosi, a California Democrat, told The Atlantic, referring to an eventual vote on specific articles of impeachment before the process heads to the Senate for a trial.

As Impeachment Inquiry Moves Into Open Phase, Here's What To Expect Next

Source: NPR

The impeachment inquiry enters a new open phase with a House vote on a resolution formalizing the impeachment inquiry. The measure drafted by House Democrats lays out the ground rules for public hearings, provides procedures for the president and his counsel to respond to evidence and sets out the process for considering articles of impeachment in the Judiciary Committee and the full House.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., announced the vote in a letter to House Democrats this week after weeks of noting that there is no requirement for a full House vote. The move means that the House is another step closer to voting on articles of impeachment against President Trump.

House Rules Committee Chairman Jim McGovern, D-Mass., the author of the House resolution, told NPR that the vote means the House is "entering a different phase" on the impeachment process. He said that he expects Democrats to be largely united on the vote and that when he briefed the caucus on the details, he stressed that "a clear transparent process was important."

If the House passes the articles and votes to impeach, the process then heads to the Senate. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that if the House approves articles and transmits them to the Senate, he will begin the process of holding a trial and ultimately a vote on whether to acquit or remove the president.

To all my DU Family "it" is starting today and not unless I'm wrong the evidence
will be so overwhelming that in the end the republicans in the senate will have to vote
to convict and remove Trump.

Switching back and forth between MSNBC and the game but one thing I have to say, ...

... But damn but does our side have some really talented people

Sorry if I don't have one of the names just right. Both the blond congresswoman from the Philadelphia area and
Raja Krishnamoorthi from Illinois are really good.

BTW Jill Wine Banks is awesome too. "The evidence is pilling up at an incredible rate." rough quote.

Fox News host (Dana Perino): 'I thought Americans would cheer,' not boo, Trump

Co-host Dana Perino admitted that she never expected that Trump would get booed by the crowd. "I'm proved completely naive," she said. "I was the one who thought the president should go to the game. I never thought he would get booed. I thought Americans won't do that, Americans would cheer."

"Repubs outsourced Ukraine policy to private lawyer paid by Russian mobsters. An Army vet objected.

This the largest international crime operation in history and Russian Mobsters/Putin owns @ least some of the Republicans. Remember when Trump, Manafort, and others changed the 2016 RNC platform on the Ukraine to make it more Putin & Russian/Ukrainian mobster friendly? And who was there when that happened? Mitch McConnell.

Republicans outsourced Ukraine policy to a private lawyer being paid by Russian mobsters. An Army vet (Lt. Col. Vindman) objected to their extortion racket. Republicans are calling him disloyal. http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/10/army-veteran-testifying-trump-ukraine-spy-vindman-impeachment.html

Everything Trump is associated with is fake. Such as the great al Baghdadi raid picture of Trump...

... and Pence in the White House situation room that was taken hours after the raid was over.

Remember "the little boy with the lawn care business" mowing the White House grass?
That young man had really never cut grass in his life. Notice all the strips of grass that he
missed when mowing the lawn. You mow with 1/2 to 1/4 of the deck over lapping the area
you just mowed to keep from getting those un-mowed strips.

Trump was over with this his "Ceausescu moment."

How much longer I don't know but that was Trump's "Ceausescu moment."

In Dec. 1989 Nicolae Ceausescu stood on a balcony before a crowd in Bucharest, Romania and
then the crowd turned on him at first he was angry and then you could see the fear in his face
Nancy's telling Trump to his face in the Cabinet Room that "all roads lead to Putin" (with you) tells
me that they have the goods on Trump and that his fate is sealed.

Very soon even hard core Trump supporters (except the ones on the take from Russia) are going to
dump him because the man is crook, a traitor, and sticking with him will become toxic.

BTW I might be wrong too.
