Listen hacks Don the Con is a candidate like we have never seen because he is

an unqualified racist narcissist who should not be on a debate stage. This soft ball shit is unacceptable.

After the debate tonight I expect at least one honest journalist say that what we saw and heard from Don the king of Cons was incoherent psychobabble and lies posing as debate answers.

have you folks seen the flooding in Cedar Rapids Iowa?

Word is Wisconsin is next as
http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/2016/09/24/iowa-flooding-forces-mandatory-evacuation-palo-cedar-rapids/91022028/
<snip>
“There was a lot of resistance last time. People were like, ‘Really? It’s not actually going to get that high, is it?’” Palo resident Kim Hutchins recalled. But it did get that high, and then some. Cedar River water poured into homes, trashing belongings and leaving residents to scramble for high ground. This time, when authorities rang the alarm after last week’s upstream deluge, residents started piling their belongings into trucks and trailers and preparing to leave.

About 25 Palo homes were evacuated Saturday as thousands of eastern Iowa residents continued to brace for the rising floodwaters of the Cedar River. Sandbagging operations continued in Cedar Rapids, where evacuations are expected to begin at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Cedar Rapids officials are helping with sandbagging and evacuation efforts in Palo, and encouraged anyone who is not volunteering to avoid all affected areas.

"We’re just trying to be more proactive than we were in '08," said Palo Mayor Tom Yock, "trying to save as many homes as we can."

At least with this flood, there was time for residents to assess the seriousness of the situation, and get to work.

Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez died in a boating crash this morning

with two other victims. The boat hit a jetty and crashed into rocks -speed appears to be the problem.

<snip>
Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez was killed in a boating accident early Sunday morning in Florida, the Marlins confirmed.

The Marlins' game against the Atlanta Braves scheduled for Sunday afternoon has been canceled.

Fernandez, the 24-year-old right-hander whose vibrant personality endeared himself to fans as much as his dominant fastball, was a Cuban-born pitcher who grew up in Tampa and was drafted 11th overall by the Marlins in 2011. He overcame Tommy John surgery in 2014 and returned to dominant form this season, winning 16 games, striking out 253 batters and earning an All-Star Game berth.

Great news - Jeremy Corbyn sweeps to victory increasing his mandate as Labour leader

Jeremy Corbyn 61.8% (313,209)

Owen Smith 38.2% (193,229)

Corbyn says Theresa May’s government is not a new government; it is a new version of David Cameron’s rightwing government.
He says school segregation is wrong.
He says poverty levels are unacceptable. Wealth must be shared more equally, he says.

Will post his victory speech as soon as I can find it.
