Lindsey It Taking Heat At His Town Hall....

pretty funny.

I Think The Repugs Need To Come To The Dems To Ask For Help To Fix ACA.......

not the other way around.

I invoke the 'Pottery Barn Rule' here.

You broke it - you bought it - you own it.

And it WAS the Repugs that broke ACA. They sabotaged it to weaken it. They wanted it to fail.

Repeal and replace - sure - look how that worked out for them. No repeal and no replace. And as Ryan said yesterday - ACA will be around in its after Repug sabotage form.

And now - if ACA does implode/explode (whatever Trump is saying these days) - it is the Repugs responsibility now.

And the Dems shouldn't be going to the Repugs with a fix. The Repugs and Trump need to come to the Dems and ask them to help fix it.

If we can't get over the hump and come up with a Medicare for all type program - then - the ACA needs to be tweaked to make it more appealing and functional than it already is.

The Repugs and Trump took their shot and failed. Now that they own what remains - it is up to them to come - hat in hand - and ask the Dems help to repair it.

What Is Paul Manafort's Motive For Volunteering To Testify In Front Of The House....

Intelligence Committee? Something sounds fishy to me about this. Why would he do this if he is wrapped up in this Trump/Russia thingy? Is he going to lie his butt off or is he going to sing like a canary? What's up?

Don't Be Fooled By Repug Congresspeople - Now Putting Out Messages That They Would've Voted No.....

Yes - there are some that were 'no' votes all through the process. The Freedom Caucus & some moderate Repugs.

But beware - some Repug Congresspeople are now taking cover behind the pulling of the bill. Seeing that the bill was pulled anyway - there is no consequence if they tell their constituents that - should there have been a vote - they would have voted 'No'. They are now saying that they listened at the Town Halls and to the people of their district and should there have been a vote - they would've voted 'No'.

Don't be fooled. They most likely would have voted Party line 'yes' for the bill should there have been a vote. But now that it crashed - the only thing that they are concerned about is their next election and their jobs. So these cowards are putting out messages that they would've voted 'No'.

Don't give them the benefit of the doubt. They are not your friend. Don't go into the voting booth in 2018 and vote for them because they said they would've voted 'No'. They are still Repugs. They will turn on you if given the chance. Don't be conned. Don't be a sucker. Vote them out of office and vote in a Dem that you can trust in 2018.

With Respect To Health Insurance Companies Now Going Forward......

My thought was that the insurance companies during the primaries and the run up of the election and then the ultimate win by taking the presidency, the House and the Senate - essentially sandbagged ACA along with the Repugs to make it fail. I believe that the insurance companies saw an opportunity to perhaps boost their profits if they went along with the Repugs and helped ACA fail.

So I think what we seen happen around the country is that they started dropping out of ACA in markets and it others they started to raise premiums. In spite of that - American's still signed up for ACA and still feel that it is a great alternative for them.

Now that the Repugs have failed to 'repeal and replace' I'm wondering if these same healthcare insurance companies will not want to leave money on the table and will begin to get back into the same markets that they dropped out of.

If they stay out now - they don't have a chance to make any money. If they re-enter ACA markets with new offerings - they have an opportunity to make money again. They gambled. They lost. And now they have to be realistic and jump back in.

If they do - I don't think that ACA will implode and I think it will become stronger.

The insurance companies saw how badly the Repugs failed on this - and I don't think that they will want to give them a chance to do this again.

This is just a theory that I have. What do you think. Might I be on to something?

Hey 45 - The Pottery Barn Rule Kicks In Here With Respect To ACA.....

You broke it - you bought it. And now - YOU own it if it implodes. It is your responsibility now. Deal with it!!!!!!

And the Dems aren[t going to come to you. You need to go to the Dems and ask them to help you fix it.

No - No - No - 45 - You Can't Blame The Dems For Your Failure.....

You crowed when you won the presidency and majorities in the House, Senate. You have enough Repugs in the House to get this bill passed. You didn't need the Dems. You and your Party are failures. Deal with it!!!!!

Ryan Is Saying They Were Close - But.....

somebody already said that by the time the vote would be taken - there could have been over 100 Repugs voting no. This talking head said - who wants to put their name on a bill that would cause 24 million Americans to lose their health insurance and others see their premiums go up while protections would be going down.

To The American People - You Know Who You Are - Take A Bow.....

for your role in killing this Trump/Repug attempt to repeal and replace ACA with crap.

Thank you for attending Town Halls and speaking up in your districts. Thank you for calling your representatives in Congress and telling them you will not support this. Thank you for 'Resisting'!!!!!!
