I need someone to interpret a few lines of a poem for me.

I don't know if anyone has ever used this site but it is for divination. http://www.facade.com/

I use the I Ching which I have studied for about 25 years and Stichomancy which is defined as:

Stich´o`man`cy
n. 1. Divination by lines, or passages of books, taken at hazard.
Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary, published 1913 by C. & G. Merriam Co.

I don't suggest anyone get involved in it if you have an addictive personality!

Anyway I received an answer at the Stichomancy part and I do not understand how to interpret this poem, or part of a poem by Edwin Arlington Robinson. If someone is good at figuring out poems I would appreciate if they could tell me what these few lines mean.

The Man against the Sky by Edwin Arlington Robinson:

"And like to none that she has known Of other women's other sons, -- The firm fruition of her need, He shines anointed; and he blurs Her vision, till it seems indeed A sacrilege to call him hers.

She fears a little for so much Of what is best, and hardly dares To think of him as one to touch With aches, indignities, and cares; She sees him rather at the goal,"

Let's create an anti-NRA lobby and give the same amount of money they give - to anti-gun candidates.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/politics/nra-congress/

EDIT TO ADD: That I am not talking about "repeal the Second Amendment people" I am talking about people who want to have real reform in our country with regards to gun legislation. So we won't have another assault weapons ban bill fail. It failed because of the NRA and everyone knows it.

The charts here show how much money was given to what Senate or House member. We all know that the better rating the NRA gives to a member the more money that member will get from them for their next race.

All we have to do is exceed the amount of money they give and we can have the same influence. I know we don't want to give money to republicans but what about the democrats that got money from them? And find out exactly how much they gave to a republican candidate and give the same amount to their democratic challenger.

They only gave a total of $421,000 to Democrats in the 2012 election. Someone here knows how to start a lobby and raise money. We can do that! And they gave 3,849,000 to Republicans. If our sole aim is to get these gun whores out we can raise that too.

I sign so many petitions and what does it matter if people are ruled by the money God. We have to fight fire with fire in this case I believe.

I hope everyone who thinks it's OK to "just breed her once" or "just buy one dog" reads this all the

way through.

The shelter manager's letter:

"I am posting this (and it is long) because I think our society needs a huge wake-up call.

As a shelter manager, I am going to share a little insight with you all - a view from the inside, if you will.

Maybe if you saw the life drain from a few sad, lost, confused eyes, you would change your mind about breeding and selling to people you don't even know - that puppy you just sold will most likely end up in my shelter when it's not a cute little puppy anymore.

How would you feel if you knew that there's about a 90% chance that dog will never walk out of the shelter it is going to be dumped at - purebred or not! About 50% of all of the dogs that are "owner surrenders" or "strays" that come into my shelter are purebred dogs.

No shortage of excuses
The most common excuses I hear are:

We are moving and we can't take our dog (or cat).
Really? Where are you moving to that doesn't allow pets?

The dog got bigger than we thought it would.
How big did you think a German Shepherd would get?

We don't have time for her.
Really? I work a 10-12 hour day and still have time for my 6 dogs!

She's tearing up our yard.
How about bringing her inside, making her a part of your family?

They always tell me:
We just don't want to have to stress about finding a place for her. We know she'll get adopted - she's a good dog. Odds are your pet won't get adopted, and how stressful do you think being in a shelter is?

Well, let me tell you. Dead pet walking!

Your pet has 72 hours to find a new family from the moment you drop it off, sometimes a little longer if the shelter isn't full and your dog manages to stay completely healthy.
If it sniffles, it dies.

Your pet will be confined to a small run / kennel in a room with about 25 other barking or crying animals. It will have to relieve itself where it eats and sleeps. It will be depressed and it will cry constantly for the family that abandoned it.
If your pet is lucky, I will have enough volunteers that day to take him / her for a walk. If I don't, your pet won't get any attention besides having a bowl of food slid under the kennel door and the waste sprayed out of its pen with a high-powered hose.
If your dog is big, black or any of the "bully" breeds (pit bull, rottweiler, mastiff, etc) it was pretty much dead when you walked it through the front door. Those dogs just don't get adopted.
If your dog doesn't get adopted within its 72 hours and the shelter is full, it will be destroyed.

If the shelter isn't full and your dog is good enough, and of a desirable enough breed, it may get a stay of execution, though not for long. Most pets get very kennel protective after about a week and are destroyed for showing aggression. Even the sweetest dogs will turn in this environment.
If your pet makes it over all of those hurdles, chances are it will get kennel cough or an upper respiratory infection and will be destroyed because shelters just don't have the funds to pay for even a $100 treatment.

The grim reaper
Here's a little euthanasia 101 for those of you that have never witnessed a perfectly healthy, scared animal being "put-down".
First, your pet will be taken from its kennel on a leash. They always look like they think they are going for a walk - happy, wagging their tails. That is, until they get to "The Room".

Every one of them freaks out and puts on the breaks when we get to the door. It must smell like death, or they can feel the sad souls that are left in there. It's strange, but it happens with every one of them. Your dog or cat will be restrained, held down by 1 or 2 vet techs (depending on their size and how freaked out they are). A euthanasia tech or a vet will start the process. They find a vein in the front leg and inject a lethal dose of the "pink stuff". Hopefully your pet doesn't panic from being restrained and jerk it's leg. I've seen the needles tear out of a leg and been covered with the resulting blood, and been deafened by the yelps and screams.

They all don't just "go to sleep" - sometimes they spasm for a while, gasp for air and defecate on themselves.
When it all ends, your pet's corpse will be stacked like firewood in a large freezer in the back, with all of the other animals that were killed, waiting to be picked up like garbage.

What happens next? Cremated? Taken to the dump? Rendered into pet food? You'll never know, and it probably won't even cross your mind. It was just an animal, and you can always buy another one, right?

Liberty, freedom and justice for all
I hope that those of you that have read this are bawling your eyes out and can't get the pictures out of your head. I do everyday on the way home from work. I hate my job, I hate that it exists and I hate that it will always be there unless people make some changes and realize that the lives you are affecting go much farther than the pets you dump at a shelter.

Between 9 and 11 MILLION animals die every year in shelters and only you can stop it. I do my best to save every life I can but rescues are always full, and there are more animals coming in everyday than there are homes.
My point to all of this is DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER PETS DIE!

Hate me if you want to - the truth hurts and reality is what it is.
I just hope I maybe changed one person's mind about breeding their dog, taking their loving pet to a shelter, or buying a dog. I hope that someone will walk into my shelter and say "I saw this thing on Facebook and it made me want to adopt".
That would make it all worth it."

Our country is sick! Massive ammo shortages in gun shops!

http://money.cnn.com/2013/03/12/news/companies/guns-ammo-shortage/index.html

I say now is the time to levy a high tax on ammo since the price just went up. Let them pay through the teeth to get their fixes.

Gun enthusiasts are buying firearms with unparalleled zeal. As a result, ammunition is in short supply nationwide.

"We can't get any inventory within a 100-mile radius," said Mark Campbell, owner of Mid America Arms in St. Louis. He's having a hard time keeping ammo in stock. "It started right around the election, as soon as President Obama mentioned gun control. But right after the school shooting in [Newtown] Connecticut, that's when it went crazy."

Even the big ammunition retailers are feeling the pinch. Wal-Mart (WMT, Fortune 500) has been rationing its ammo since January, to three boxes per customer per day. And when a gun retailer like Cabela's (CAB) gets two or three shrink-wrapped pallets of 5.56 mm or .223 ammunition for AR-15 assault rifles, they're "cleaned off like locusts, within a couple of hours," according to Brian Rafn, a research director at Morgan Dempsey Capital Management in Milwaukee who follows ammo manufacturers.

I had forgotten what it was like.

First off does anyone know of a person that is like me, who grew up straight but then turned gay and then turned straight again.....all without her permission? That is truly what happened to me. I supposed if I had been in a repressive society I would have kept my gay feelings to myself and lived a straight lifestyle all the way through but the fact that I actually thought I was gay at around age 27 - 36 and then started being attracted to the opposite sex again was not only disconcerting at the time but still confuses me. And I have never met anyone else who has had the same experience. And it is not like I am completely straight right now because there are some women who can still, "do it" for me, if you know what I mean.

Anyway that is only part of what I wanted to write. I made the mistake of befriending a girl who is a born again X-ian. She never really talked about it much and didn't push it on me so I thought it was OK. We had a lot of fun together. But one day she invited me to meet her other friend, also a born again X-ian, and there was a "discussion" between that friend and me. It was a little heated. At some point my friend said, "Well I don't believe gay people should be able to get married." So I said, "Why shouldn't they have the same rights as you have?" And she said nothing.

Anyway about a week went by and then all of a sudden my "friend" stopped returning my phone calls, and actually did not show up when we were supposed to get together for lunch. I was upset and confused but I had no idea what her real problem was.

So I ended up calling her on my old cell phone, the number of which I think she did not know, so she picked up the phone. And when I asked her why she was ignoring me she said it was because of my past relationships with women, (I had emailed her after the "discussion" with her friend and told her about me).

I cannot begin to tell you how hurt I feel. It sent me right back to a place when I was in this treatment center and none of the girls wanted to share a room with me, (at that time I was calling myself gay). The pain is so deep. I must not have enough acceptance for myself or something. And I only have gay friends now that I can talk to on the phone because I have moved and don't have a support system.

And I work with this narrow minded hypocrite and now I want to punch her in the head. It is so uncomfortable having to see her. I've said some nasty things to her which I know only makes me look bad and doesn't help the situation.

Oh, she did call me once and apologized for saying what she said, (the phone call was in regards to something else) but when I took someone else's advise and asked her if we could get together and talk she just made excuses. So she can take that apology and shove it up her ass as far as I am concerned because it means nothing.

How do you deal with it? I don't think I ever did deal with the initial rejections or even childhood rejections. I spoke to a social worker and he said that I must still have unresolved issues from the past to have such a strong reaction to her rejecting me now. And trust me, I had no sexual or romantic feelings for her at all. I was just happy to have a friend and we had a lot of fun times and now I lost that and all because of the essence of who I am.
