Just heard a caller on Thom Hartman bring up this article from the Texas Observer. I am trying to keep my chin up but it just keeps getting harder every day. It is a quick but difficult read.
For so long, the people of South Texas have been expected to sacrifice their communities to a border security apparatus. Drones, helicopters, and agents have saturated cities and towns where residents have gone without health insurance and send their children to underfunded schools. It was this apparatus that responded in late May when a gunman rampaged through an elementary school classroom in Uvalde, killing children—19 in all—and two teachers.
Hundreds of state troopers, federal immigration agents, sheriff’s deputies, U.S. Marshals, and local police quickly descended on a town of 15,000, set among ranchlands 80 miles southwest of San Antonio and 60 miles from the border with Mexico. That rapid influx reflected the deep penetration of the border security apparatus in the region. And it was members of that apparatus, a tactical team that included Border Patrol agents, that Governor Greg Abbott and Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw credited with charging into a classroom and killing the gunman.

Advice for Dealing with Radical RW Family Members
I know this sounds like a political issue but more and more I am Thinking what is wrong with my some of my Family is a Mental Heath Issue. I can't talk to them as they immediately start the "talk over me" thing and I loose it. We haven't had this discussion in Four Years so a lot came out. The Worst thing for me is they deny everything that happened...I had hoped they would ditch the former guy but no my brother sounds like a well programmed Robot. I (They) need Help, as the Bottom Line is my Mother's Health; she is being cared for by someone who doesn't believe in...you name it as far as Science goes.
It is so Nice to BE PROUD....
to be an American and of your President and Vice-President AGAIN. Oh, how about knowing they are working on Issues not watching Television or irritating more than half the Citizens with every Tweet or Word Uttered. I can remember when the Dark Side claimed "the adults are in charge again", well funny how that worked out for them (no more diapers in the White House). I am flying my American Flag again after 1533 days...It looks wonderful in the Wind Today, makes me want to do something other than H A T E their guts, I may never get around that though as I have felt that way since the Late 60's. I can look at our President now and not want to change the channel, turn my head, plug my ears or scream F U A-hole! N I C E!

I was curious as to how to go about getting my own copy of the Constitution...just like Khzir Khan was willing to loan to (I cannot and will not say or print it's name...you know the fake potus) during the Democratic Convention. I think we should all have one.
