A Florida dog put a car into reverse and drove it in circles for nearly an hour

Anne Sabol's cul-de-sac in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is fairly quiet.

Well, it was, until a dog hopped in its owner's running car, kicked it in reverse, drove in circles for an hour and smashed a neighbor's mailbox before safely exiting the vehicle without so much as a scratch.

Who's drivin' that car? A black Labrador Retriever, either terribly frightened or joyfully free.

As for the pup, it's impossible to know its thoughts behind the wheel. Did it jump at the chance for a joyride and a fleeting taste of freedom? Or was this all a harrowing accident as the dog felt all control slip through its paws?

Final legal actions and effect on the law profession[edit]
Charles Colson pled guilty to charges concerning the Daniel Ellsberg case; in exchange, the indictment against him for covering up the activities of the Committee to Re-elect the President was dropped, as it was against Strachan. The remaining five members of the Watergate Seven indicted in March went on trial in October 1974. On January 1, 1975, all but Parkinson were found guilty. In 1976, the U.S. Court of Appeals ordered a new trial for Mardian; subsequently, all charges against him were dropped.
Haldeman, Ehrlichman, and Mitchell exhausted their appeals in 1977. Ehrlichman entered prison in 1976, followed by the other two in 1977. Since Nixon and many senior officials involved in Watergate were lawyers, the scandal severely tarnished the public image of the legal profession.[98][99][100]

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan allegedly intercepted a phone call between White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and then used the call to blackmail President Donald Trump.

The Spectator, a British publication, reported on Sunday that a source familiar with the House impeachment inquiry say at least one whistleblower has come forward claiming that Kushner spoke with MBS regarding Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, greenlighting the journalist’s arrest.

But the source said there is more: Turkey obtained an intercept of Kushner’s phone call and subsequently used it to persuade Trump to pull U.S. troops out of northern Syria.

Erdogan was looking to launch a long-planned offensive against American-allied Kurds in the region, and Trump effectively gave the Turkish leader his blessing by withdrawing U.S. troops last month, after speaking with him on the phone.

MIAMI (WFLA) – A woman in a hospital gown created somewhat of a spectacle on Interstate 95 after she stole a golf cart and took it on a joyride.

NBC Miami obtained a cell phone video that shows the unidentified woman weaving in and out of traffic.

Police said the golf cart was stolen from a University of Miami hospital.

The woman was eventually taken into custody under Florida’s Baker Act, the news station reported.

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (WPTV/CNN) - A naked Florida man is accused of taking an American flag off a yacht, but only after he put on a little show for crew members.
Capt. Joe Reardon, the owner of Delray Yacht Cruises, said the suspect is “certainly not shy.” As surveillance video shows, he’s also extremely comfortable in his own skin.
Reardon got an eyeful after a crew member first noticed Friday morning their American flag and a wooden pole were missing.
The crew checked the security camera. Now pictures of the naked man running through the Lady Atlantic and Lady Delray are all over social media, shared hundreds of times just from their page.

The scandal first surfaced when the public learned that Rudy Giuliani associates Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas — who were indicted (and pleaded not guilty) for allegedly circumventing federal campaign finance laws to funnel foreign and dark money to political candidates in exchange for influence — had contributed $50,000 to DeSantis’s campaign last year and more than $20,000 to Republican Sen. Rick Scott.

But that was soon called into question, when a few days later, 2018 footage surfaced showing DeSantis hugging both Fruman and Parnas amid a sea of onlookers and cameras.

Shortly after, it was revealed that Parnas accompanied DeSantis on a string of events in the closing moments of the 2018 gubernatorial campaign season. The Virginia attorney representing Parnas said, “if he was in the pictures,” then Parnas likely flew with DeSantis on his campaign plane.

After all, this recent fiasco follows a scandal in which the Tampa Bay Times revealed documents outlining what basically constitutes a menu of different options special interests can pay to receive face time with DeSantis.
