Is Russian Money Behind Graham's Growing Defense of Trump?
Follow the money...this article lays it out.
More dirt on the Screaming Senator from SC (Lindsey)...
https://investigaterussia.org/media/2018-09-11/russian-money-behind-grahams-growing-defense-trumpIs Russian Money Behind Graham's Growing Defense of Trump?
The Intellectualist, a left-leaning news aggregator, points out that Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has received at least $800,000 in campaign donations from a man with ties to Putin-allied oligarchs, which could explain why the Senator has been increasingly supportive of President Trump lately.

'Mostly false:' Politifact vets 9 Rick Scott ads, finds all 9 are false
https://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/taking-names-scott-maxwell/os-ne-rick-scott-lies-politifact-bill-nelson-scott-maxwell-20180928-story.htmlIf I told you there were lies in politics, it would probably shock you about as much as if I told you theres water in the ocean.
This campaign season, however, were seeing something more extreme falsehoods in nine of the nine Rick Scott ads vetted by the Pulitizer Prize-winning fact-checkers at Politifact.
Yes, nine out of nine.
Its almost impressive, yet hardly surprising, as Scott has used lies to distract from his own record every step of his political career.
The feds said his company used kickbacks and phony billing to steal from American taxpayers the same people Scott was now asking for votes.
It was almost like someone robbing your house and then asking you to elect him head of the neighborhood watch.

That's one way to deal with hurricanes...Florida (again)...video at link

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jet skis in Florida are as common as cheeseheads in Wisconsin, but the latest sighting is really making waves around the state.
Video taken today by Beth Porter around noon shows a man riding his jet ski on the crystal clear blue roadways of the Sunshine State.
The jet ski did sport a license plate, and the rider was wearing a helmet and protective eyewear, so it looks like Florida Man is going legit.

Ron DeSantis veers into the absurd in bid to raise fear and doubt on Andrew Gillum
http://www.tampabay.com/florida-politics/buzz/2018/09/16/ron-desantis-veers-into-the-absurd-in-bid-to-raise-fear-and-doubt-on-andrew-gillum/DeSantis suggested Saturday in Central Florida that a Gov. Gillum would usher in a state income tax and be soft on child molesters. Its almost like saying, I cant persuade voters on the real issues so Im going to raise fear and doubt," says a USF St. Pete political scientist
Tallahassee Mayor Gillum does call for raising Florida's corporate tax rate two percentage points to 7.5 percent to boost education funding, including raising minimum teacher salaries to $50,000 per year. He has said nothing about a state income tax, which would be virtually impossible to enact even if he wanted to.
Changing the ban on state income tax that has been embedded in the Florida Constitution for nearly a century would require support from at least 60 percent of voters. Putting it on the ballot for voters to consider would require signatures from nearly 800,000 voters or support from three-fifths of both legislative chambers.

Murder for hire' plot against Tampa's Big Cat Rescue CEO leads to arrest of Oklahoma candidate
File this under weird Florida co-mingled with libertarians...

https://www.tampabay.com/news/-Murder-for-hire-plot-against-Tampa-s-Big-Cat-Rescue-CEO-leads-to-arrest-of-Oklahoma-candidate-for-governor_171609891
A years-long feud between an Oklahoma zookeeper and a Tampa conservationist ended with the zookeeper in handcuffs Friday after federal agents foiled his alleged murder-for-hire scheme.
Joseph "Joe Exotic" Maldonado-Passage, 55, was indicted by a federal grand jury and arrested Friday in Gulf Breeze for allegedly offering to pay two different people to murder Carole Baskin, the CEO of Tampas Big Cat Rescue, an animal sanctuary.
Maldonado-Passages arrest comes during a turbulent year for the zookeeper. In October of last year, Maldonados husband, Travis, died from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head at Maldonados Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park. Two months later, Maldonado married another man, Dillon Passage, according to local media reports.
And in June, he lost his long shot bid to be governor of Oklahoma, finishing third in a three-person race for the Libertarian nomination. He ran on a platform that supported rights for abortion, the LGBTQ community and unfettered gun ownership.
