a kennedy's JournalOk, who would back me to just have an hour show with stars, athletes, and politicians....
Why does every talk show have to move on with guests??? I want an hour show of just one guest.....a sports star, a politician, a movie star for the hour......how awesome would that be?? I hate shows that just talk for less then 10 minutes. Can I get some backing??

The Senate voted Thursday to confirm Michael Brennan to a lifetime seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit ― a vacancy that Republicans prevented President Barack Obama from filling for six years.
The vote, 49 to 46, was entirely partisan.
Until now, the seat was the nations longest circuit court vacancy. It was empty since January 2010, and it had been up to Wisconsins two senators to work with the White House to fill it. The reason it went unfilled for so long largely came down to one person: Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.).
Obama nominated Victoria Nourse to the seat in July 2010. Johnson denied her a confirmation hearing for all of 2011 by refusing to turn in his so-called blue slip, a Senate tradition whereby home-state senators have the ability to stop or advance a judicial nominee in the Judiciary Committee. Nourse withdrew her nomination in early 2012, calling the system broken.

Ever since northern neighbors Wisconsin and Minnesota veered off in opposite directions politically, a rhetorical border war has been fanned over the competing parties and policies that have guided them.
The latest volley comes from a liberal research group, the Economic Policy Institute, which finds that on a multitude of key measures, Minnesotas economic performance over the past seven years has been markedly better than that of its neighbor to the east.
Put another way, Minnesota has fared better economically under Democrats than Wisconsin has under Republicans, according to a study released Tuesday by the Washington, D.C.-based organization.

Sinclair Broadcast Group, which for months has denied any interest in challenging Fox News while awaiting approval of a merger with Tribune Co., is gearing up to do just that.
Sinclair executive chairman David Smith has been holding meetings with potential future employees, including former Fox News staff members, and laying out a vision for an evening block of opinion and news programming that would compete with Foxs top-rated lineup, according to a person familiar with the meetings.
