This is good news https://www.wabe.org/georgia-end-controversial-step-voter-roll-deletions/
In the short term, the mutual agreement means the information of 35,000 Georgians will be updated. It will also make voting easier in the future for people who move within the same county, said Sean Young, legal director with the ACLU of Georgia.
If someones address isnt updated they may show up at the wrong polling place, Young said. Theyre supposed to be given an opportunity at that point to go ahead and vote and have the opportunity to change their address at the polling site. But sometimes what happens is the voter gets frustrated and then theyre turned away. They look for their correct polling place and they may not have enough time to find the correct polling place.
Last year, a pool of 168,941 registered voters who moved within the same county were sent notices by the Secretary of States office. If they did not respond within 30 days, they would have been listed as inactive, triggering a process that could ultimately result in their name being removed from the voter rolls.
NEW: Top House Democrat Rep. Jerry Nadler calls Nunes memo "deliberately misleading" in 6-page rebut

Source: NBC News
A top House Democrat is challenging the core conclusion of the memo released by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes on Friday, calling the allegation that the Justice Department and FBI withheld key details as they sought a secret surveillance warrant on former Trump adviser Carter Page deliberately misleading and deeply wrong on the law.
NBC News has exclusively obtained a six-page rebuttal to the Nunes memo from Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, which was to be circulated to all House Democrats on Saturday.
Given his senior position, Nadler is one of the small number of lawmakers who has viewed the highly-sensitive documents that are the basis of Nunes memo.

Trump fans go ballistic on Trey Gowdy after he says the Nunes memo doesnt discredit the Mueller probe. Gowdy actually read the FISA application https://www.rawstory.com/2018/02/trump-fans-go-ballistic-trey-gowdy-says-nunes-memo-doesnt-discredit-mueller-probe/
As I have said repeatedly, I also remain 100 percent confident in Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Gowdy wrote on Twitter. The contents of this memo do not in any way discredit his investigation.

Devin Nunes didnt read the intel behind his own memo
Nunes wrote a memo on a FISA application that he did not even read http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/devin-nunes-didnt-read-the-intel-behind-his-own-memo
Intelligence officials made the case for that surveillance to a FISA court judge with specific information. Nunes, while making the case in his memo against that surveillance, could have read the underlying intelligence, but didnt.
To be sure, this angle isnt altogether new. Nunes decision not to read the materials himself became clear when the transcript of Mondays debate in the House Intelligence Committee was released. Indeed, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the panels ranking member, told Rachel on the show this week, Whats important to realize is the chairman of this committee whos pushing this memo out hasnt even read the underlying materials himself. So, he cant vouch for the accuracy or the inaccuracy as this case maybe of his own work product.
It doesnt inspire confidence, does it?
Postscript: Its worth noting for context that Trey Gowdy, who did read the classified materials that Nunes didnt read, unexpectedly announced his retirement the day after the committee voted to release the memo.
