Just so in character

To me, cheato's most glaring characteristic has always been childishness. Childish emotions, childish reactions, childish speech, childish mental acuity, childish attention span, childish comprehension, you get the idea.

He is so obviously a three year old wrapped in an old man's body and decorated with orange paint and bright yellow hair dye.

That's why falling asleep in court is so incredibly in character. EXACTLY what a three year old would do. And when court is over, the tantrum will begin.

So MSNBC and CNN LOVE to remind us that these trials have helped cheeto

It's one thing you can count on them to bring up ad nauseum, probably once every fifteen minutes or so. The less talented pundits such as Katie Tur, are almost "one note Charlies" in this regard.

Well, besides the fact that this tired old trope is boring as hell, IT IS NOT EVEN TRUE. How do I know? If it helped cheato, FAUX would be covering it nonstop.

According to the twitters, FAUX is completely ignoring it to cover some small pro-Palestinian protests in San Francisco. Those "hurt" Biden in their view. Even FAUX knows this is bad for their cheato.

"Hush Money" trial is not an objective term

It plays into MAGA framing and makes the whole thing sound frivolous. The prosecutor calls it an election interference case and has give legally sound reasons for doing so.

Since CNN is currently running chyrons calling it a "hush money" trial and probably will continue to do so tomorrow, I'll be watching on MSNBC.

"Moderate" R Chris Sununu was on ABC this AM and pledged his undying

support for cheato. I have to admit that George S. put him through his paces very well, asking multiple follow up questions. Basically, "moderate" Chris pledged to support his leader no matter what. Regardless of whether he was convicted in the espionage case or anything else, or all of 88 felonies for that matter.

One thing George didn't follow up on was when Sununu claimed that 51% of the country would support cheato even if he was convicted. There may be evidence that 51% of R's would, but not 51% of the whole country. Leaving that out there unchallenged is propaganda.

Is Biden still going to address the nation?

Or did I miss it?

April 13, 2024

I am so happy that Joe Biden is President right now.

I have faith in him and his team. I believe they are knowledgeable and wise. I don't care if that sounds naive. It's a terrible situation in so many ways, but it matters that he is in charge. Whatever happens, it will not revolve around his ego.

What do you think?

"Today: Trump and Johnson speak amid GOP dysfunction". Chyron on CNN now as the meeting between Mikey and cheato looms.

I think it's an improvement. They are not using the "election integrity" RW framing for the meeting. And I detect a little bit of skepticism about Mike Johnson FINALLY after months of presenting him as a well meaning pawn of MTG, etc. who really just wants what's best for the country. They are actually covering his role in election denialism.

Oh well, it will probably be different tomorrow but refreshing nonetheless.

A Reuters poll taken April 4 shows Biden ahead 41% to 37%, which is

a 9 point swing in Biden's favor. Now if it was taken April 4, what important event has taken place since then that might increase Biden's lead even more?

I'm sure you guessed immediately that it should be the AZ decision.

But MSNBC doesn't think so. After announcing this 9 point move in Biden's favor very off handedly, they immediately followed with: and this doesn't take into account how trump's court case will affect these numbers. They then went on to spin the court case as very likely good for him.

So, there you go. It's obvious Biden is gaining, but the corporate media is still going to dish out the BFB (bad for Biden) narrative until their last gasp.

Dear NYT et al: NOW do you see why your coverage of cheato's BS is wrong?

I assume the answer is no, just to get that out of the way. As brilliantly set out by Rachel last night, every mainstream newspaper reported the freak's big announcement on abortion credulously yesterday. They presented it as a moderate, reasonable position.

They did NOT highlight that he has flipped his position at least 13 times so you can't trust anything he says. They did NOT highlight that he lied that Democrats execute babies after birth, a Nazi trope.

And they ESPECIALLY did not highlight that even this new position means that he supports total abortion bans in any state that deems it so.

So now that AZ has completely banned abortion, do you get it? I'll spell it out since I know they don't: cheato supports total abortion bans and the rightwing judges he appoints will help him achieve it.

I know that takes a little more journalistic effort than transcribing only what his campaign wants you to highlight, but it's your job.

Good question: Is any journalist going to ask cheato why he lied about Ruby Garcia

last week? Or no?

For those who don't know, Ruby Garcia was a murder victim who cheato used to stir up his crime narrative at a rally last week, claiming to have talked to her family and quoting them. The family later said he never talked to them.

So this is how it's gonna be. He will lie about EVERYTHING until the election and no journalist will call him on it. I mean ask HIM to respond and keep asking until he answers.

C'mon journalists....pick one lie and keep hammering if you are overwhelmed. But do something.
