And then the Republican and right-wing tantrums will be used as proof of the "divisiveness" of any nominee- and likely be seized upon by Manchin and Sinema as reason to demand Biden nominate somebody else. And I'm not even mentioning the probable race and/or gender of any prospective nominees and the outrage and hysteria THAT will cause.

He's ruined BBB and Federal voting rights legislation for the foreseeable future. IDGAF if he's mad that other people are (rightfully) mad at him and talking about it. Same goes for SINema.

Republicans say that they want "parental input" and "transparency" but what they are really trying to implement is make it so THEIR people- MAGAs, Qs- can create havoc in the schools with any and all curriculum that THEY disagree with and don't want taught. The obvious solution in all of this is for "concerned parents" to pull their kids out of school and home school them or send them to private schools (on their own dime) so that they can indoctrinate them in whatever "woo" they want to promote.
Why "Natural Immunity"?
Doesn't that imply that some people are just naturally immune (which nobody is AFAIK)? Why isn't it being referred to as something like "acquired immunity", since the immunity is conferred or acquired through infection?

It's like a toddler blaming adults for not cleaning up the toys they are pulling right back out flinging back on to the floor.
Hopefully, people won't buy it but somehow I just can't feel confident that too many won't.
I don't believe that we should be mean-spirited towards anti-vaxxers
nor celebrate their deaths, but we should definitely be encouraging people to get vaccinated in order to control the pandemic and bring it to heel. Letting it just spread unchecked and give it the opportunity to spawn more and more variants, especially ones that render the vaccines we have less and less potent, is not a good plan. I'm not sure what "legitimate, alternative points of view" you're referring to. If somebody is spreading disinformation, especially purposefully, it needs to be strenuously challenged/corrected.
