I'm beginning to strongly suspect

a Romney/Christie ticket. Christie has those same kind of "attack-dog" qualities that right-wingers like and he has been vociferous in his support of Romney (and savage in his attacks on Obama) ever since he dismissed talk of running. Plus it preps him up for 2016 (if Romney loses) without leaving him with all of the baggage of a failed Presidential run. The only question about such a pairing is if the teabaggers would be satisfied b/c neither one of them have extremely conservative credentials though given the prominence of the economy as in issue in 2012, the teabaggers know that Christie has been tough on teachers unions and labor and they like that sort of crap.

Can't wait to see this

I loved his podcast and his Limbaugh Lie of the Day that he used to do- I think he stopped doing them to make this doc. Hope it wakes some people up. I hope he really learned something about these people because I'm a political junkie and I'm still VERY confused about the whole "movement" and couldn't tell anybody the first thing about what they supposedly stand for. The only major thing that I have really consistently noticed is that they seem to basically be projecting all of Bush's faults and follies onto Obama.

Good question

Another one that bothers me is, should we accept corporations paying their overseas employees slave wages and otherwise exploiting them just to "keep products cheap" here?

You would think

that most sane, reasonable people would be able to tell the difference between a woman baring her breasts for the purpose of feeding her child(ren) and actually being indecent and respond appropriately. As for anybody whom is actually bothered by seeing a woman breastfeed their children, well, I have to ask, why? Though maybe I'm a little biased as I happen to think that women's breasts are quite lovely to look at. At the very least, people whom are offended by it can simply choose to look the other way and/or walk away. It's not like they're strapped in chairs and FORCED to watch women breastfeed or anything.

I agree 100%

Without even addressing the substance of what any of them say (which is ALWAYS automatically suspect with me), When I hear this junk on hate radio- for the 1/1000th of a second that I manage to listen to it- I find myself screaming at the radio and wanting to put my fist through it (but then I realize that I'm being ridiculous- after all, it's not the radio's fault. It's just the messenger). My body would probably spontaneously combust if I was ever forced to sit a listen to Fox News for a half-hour (maybe less). Nothing to see or hear from Fox News and the right-wing's hate media apparatus but lies, lies, and MORE lies- all while pretending that they are "fair and balanced" and that the rest of the "mainstream media" (despite the volume of proof otherwise) is somehow tilted in favor of "the left".

We're Americans

It seems to be our lot in life to suffer, at least those of us in the 99%- and we're basically raised/propagandized to believe that suffering is basically "the order of things" in this country and that expecting anything better would be demanding/inviting socialist tyranny be loosed upon our country.

"Conservative" is really a misnomer

in terms of describing most of the right-wing/Republicans nowadays. "Regressives" seem to be a better way to describe them and their policies IMHO as they seem fixated in not only preventing progress but actually taking us ass-backwards to..........well, somewhere I'm pretty sure most of us don't want to go.

Excellent article about why attacking Iran would be an awfully awful idea

http://walt.foreignpolicy.com/posts/2011/12/27/why_attacking_iran_is_still_a_bad_idea

I'm not sure I have anything to add to this suffice it to say that the same dunderheads whom thought that invading/occupying Iraq was going to be a good thing for the world and for our country and its "war on terrorism" seem to now be increasingly engaged in a fresh effort to convince us that attacking ANOTHER ME country in a so-called "preventative" manner is going to make everybody safer and improve our standing in the world.

Getting rid of public funding for PBS- that renowned driver of the national debt

should plug that nasty deficit in no time flat! Yes, let's make THAT our top national focus right now.

So

When's her veil/burqa fitting scheduled for?

I guess the right-wing has discovered its new muslim bogeyman to replace the now (seemingly) defunct Al-Queda.
