Mad_Machine76's JournalHow does the logical thought process of Iran deal opponents work?
The deal puts all these mechanisms in place to ensure that it's as hard as possible for Iran to develop nuclear weapons (and makes it so that Iran can be punished economically again if it cheats) yet, according to the opponents this all makes it EASIER (and more likely) that Iran will SOMEHOW be able to develop a nuclear weapon right under everybody's noses. Also, the opponents also act as though military options have been completely removed from the table even though that was never part of the agreement and President Obama and future Presidents fully retain the ability to use military force if Iran ever appeared to pose a legitimate military threat to Israel or anybody else. I don't get it. Am I missing a step somewhere?
Raccoons? Bernie supporters?
I don't get this at all? I get that is sarcastic/snarky but what?
"Princess Sparklemoose"
I definitely plan on using this from time to time-if you don't mind.
Is there an epidemic of police officer killings I am unaware of?
I thought maybe that you were mocking Fox's blaming of police deaths on BLM. Maybe not?
He took down ACORN
his record since then hasn't been as great, of course, but, yeah, I really hate that anybody pays serious attention to his stings and anybody else who use his "techniques" to try to take down helping organizations that they don't like. It infuriates me that CMP was able to get everybody so riled up over their recent anti-PP "sting" and got some members of Congress to actually agree to vote to defund PP and for several governors to terminate their Medicaid contracts with Planned Parenthood. My Democratic Senator, Joe Donnelly (D-IN) even went along with the outrage. What happened with ACORN was also a huge black stain on, what was at the time, a Democratic Congress.
Is he running for POTUS
or the (next) Pope?
Or does he think he's running for President of someplace, like say, Iran.
To add to your OP
I don't "get" how so many people whom purport to hate government actually campaign TO BE IN government. One might think that if they hate it so much, then why would they want to be part of it? I stay quite far away from things I claim to hate/dislike. Or is it just a "I hate things unless they run MY WAY" sort of thing?
