Jindal can't do that

It was already tried here in Indiana and it eventually got shot down by the federal courts.

We have seen it over and over again over the last few years

1. Benghazi-Hillary and Obama purposely left the mission staff high and dry to die
2. Obamacare- killing jobs and destroying the healthcare system
3. Iran Deal- making it "easier" for Iran to get a nuclear weapon
4. Planned Parenthood- selling "baby parts"

No matter what the facts are, no matter the fact that there is zero evidence to support any of their wild claims, the right-wing NEVER backs down on any of them and continues to endlessly flog them for donations, votes, etc. Since the 1990's, in fact, they will endlessly scrutinize and investigate or pick at ANYTHING they think will damage/weaken their opposition whether true or not. They don't pay much, if any, attention to REAL scandals like the entire George W. Bush/Dick Cheney (mis-)Administration- starting with how they managed to be installed in the first place- but they will go after Democrats and left-wing organizations with all of the firepower they can muster and wreak whatever havoc they can.

What gets me

is how righties are pissing their pants over a country we have not being able to prove even has a SINGLE nuclear weapon, let alone the multitude that a much larger country like the Soviet Union had (and we survived nearly 50 years with). The people I've been arguing with on Facebook keep pointing out that Iran sponsors terrorism and is somehow "irrational", which supposedly makes them supposedly worse than the Soviet Union (as for rhetoric, I suppose they forgot about Kruschev's infamous "We will bury you" comment). Nobody is arguing that Iran is perfect or that this deal solves all of our issues with them but I don't lose any sleep about Iran having a bomb so much as I do nuclear-armed North Korea and it's pretty clearly insane leadership.

Many BS supporters have actually turned me OFF to Bernie even though I generally like/support him.

I still need some convincing, however, that he will be able to take down Hillary like Obama did in 2008 and have enough widespread appeal to win in the general (though given the choices in the Republican field, I feel more optimistic about our chances to hold the WH in 2016 pretty much regardless of who wins in the Primary). I will gladly support him for POTUS if he wins the Democratic primary, but, right now, I think that Hillary has more widespread appeal in both the Democratic Primary and the general electorate and is more likely to win.

He would need a solid progressive majority

in the House and the Senate to get much of his proposals through. Without a HUGE groundswell of public support that even Republicans can't ignore, ANY Democrat elected in 2016 will have to take a more incremental approach to things.
