Which some of you I’m certain have already heard, but for the rest…

A guy goes into a bar, there's a robot bartender. The robot says, "What will you have?"
The guy says, "Martini."
The robot brings back the best martini ever and says to the man, "What's your IQ?"
The guy says, "168."
The robot then proceeds to talk about physics, space exploration, and medical technology.

The guy leaves, but he is curious.
So he goes back into the bar.
The robot bartender says, "What will you have?"

Again, the robot makes a great martini, gives it to the man and says, "What's your IQ?"
The guy says, "100."
The robot then starts to talk about NASCAR, Budweiser, and John Deere tractors.

The guy leaves but finds it very interesting, so he thinks he will try it one more time.
He goes back into the bar.
The robot says, "What will you have?"
The guy says, "Martini," and the robot brings him another great martini.

The guy says, "Uh, about 50."
The robot leans in real close and says,
"Isn’t it terrible the way Biden stole the election?"

They're gonna lose the House and they know it...

They are metaphorically gesticulating wildly because they know:

A. That their days are numbered

2. That the metaphorical (again) shit is gonna hit the fan.

You know, I listened to assholes like Jonathan Lemire for two years, talking about how there were going to be all these committees investigating Democrats, and all kinds of hell to pay, and he and others were wrong about that as well as being terrifyingly badly wrong about the Red Wave. There was nothing to uncover, the Rethug House members made absolute fools out of themselves, and they exposed their own sins mightily.

They are gonna lose some Senate races which they thought they had in the bag, and of course, Trump is gonna be decimated electorally and in the popular vote. This is entirely because a whole lotta folks are tired of taking their shit.

How do I know this? Because not only are voters fed up, but no candidate on their side, the Nazi side, is gonna have a dime to buy ads because the Creamsicle is in the process of stealing it all.

Fuck these people and their moralizing, their fake angers, their hate, their bigotry, their phoniness, and their whole holier-than-thou bullshit mentality. We need to flush the toilet and send the metaphorical logs and paper down to the metaphorical sewer where it all belongs.

I’m out of metaphors for the moment.

I refer you to edhopper’s post up/downthread and his sentiments and I can only say “ditto”.

I believe that Democrats/Liberals/Progressives need to face the absolute fact

that the reason, the SOLE set of reasons that the vast number of others pull that lever for Trump, even though they may claim that he’s terribly “flawed”, is that he’s an avowed racist/homophobe/misogynist/anti-semite/supercilious HATER.

It has nothing to do with anything else. It is why George Wallace won Democratic primaries, it is why white NFL quarterbacks are idolized way beyond their relative capabilities, it is why people of color are shot on sight by police who will then risk years in jail on the perjury charges alone and it’s ok with millions, it is why a lot of things, things I will not mention here because many will get very very upset with this post, happen in this country.


But the ONE thing that these people will someday have to come to terms with is that Trump despises the military and those individuals and families who “paid the ultimate sacrifice” and this is tolerated. My father who served four years in the Pacific Theater in WWII would likely call for Trumps indictment, conviction, and punishment as a traitor to the United States. Despicable.

Please allow me a suggestion:

The phrase “Rapid Downhill Course” should be utilized when discussing Creamsicle’s mental and physical status. Not only do I believe that it is a terrific propagandist phrase, but it is actually truthfully applicable in this particular case.

As I have mentioned before in previous posts, I have this unusual visual eidetic memory, wherein I visualize a scene in its entirety, exactly as it presented itself. It has been described by others as what used to be called a photographic plate in the brain. It always has been and presently is very useful for me clinically because I can visually recall a situation almost exactly as it presented not just on the first time seen, but each time. If I forget to take a shade for porcelain for a crown or a denture, I can bring up the memory of the patient’s existing teeth with my eyes closed and almost always get the shade exactly right. I have had this memory “talent” since I was a tiny child and my mom used to have me amaze her friends when I was two and three years of age with “feats” of memory.

I bring this up because I had a staff member who it turned out, had a severe illness, and I immediately noticed what I thought were significant changes early in her appearance, and was able to relate distinct manifestations of her condition almost on a daily basis. One of the things which I noted was the increase in Velocity of her disease process. Not to put too fine a point on it, but there often is an increase in the rate of change of the attribute of the person, the second derivative as they say in calculus.

I am absolutely seeing that in the Orange Menace, and this is occurring on several axes simultaneously. His facial appearance has manifestly altered in recent weeks, his judgement and thus his attention to his accoutrements including his hair has obviously dwindled, his speech patterns are clearly pathological and associated I believe with small cerebrovascular accidents, a.k.a. “Small strokes” which would account for his worsening gait -dragging his leg behind him - and his trailing off and staring into space while he marshals his “thoughts”.


Because we be are subjected to his presence daily, the vast number of people rightly, don't and won’t notice a change, but because I have this megapixel visual memory, each day gives me a small jolt when I see him. The jolts are growing in intensity daily and my guess is that in the next six to eight weeks, unless there’s some sort of intervention, something’s going to “give”. I would classify his deterioration as a somewhat rapid downhill course, and if he were a patient, I would phone his PCP and have a discussion.

I believe the phrase “Rapid Downhill Course” needs to be repeated as often as possible and included in communication with the msm until they, in their incredible stupidity, vacuousness, and ignorance, acknowledge the severity of his pathology of all varieties and variants.

A tangential political analogy which might (or might not) be of some interest:

Prologue: The City of Philadelphia is home to many things of national interest such as the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of The United States, The Design of the Flag of The United States, and The Philadelphia Mint which was the nation's first. Ben Franklin created many American firsts including the first library and it should be known that Pennsylvania Hospital, also founded by him pioneered many medical advances way back when.

And since medicine is a really big deal in Philadelphia, it should also be mentioned that two dental specialties owe their modern origins to practitioners based in the city, that is endodontics and periodontics. Both of these pursuits have allowed countless individuals to maintain their dentitions far beyond what was expected just seventy years ago. There has been an incredible explosion in the practice and economic profitability in the many billions of dollars annually within dentistry emanating from these two fields.

One of the originators of periodontics had established himself in Philadelphia in the 1930's and his son went on to become the dean of a prestigious dental school and the most respected clinician in the Delaware Valley. It isn't obvious to the populace at large, but these individuals who are in certain positions wield a great deal of "power" within their profession and mentioning their name alone can often strike terror in the heart and soul of someone who may have somehow offended the principal or one of his or her lieutenants. I have several stories which I will be relating in my novel-of-eventual-publication which are both frightening from a certain perspective, and humorous after the fact.

There were three factions in dentistry in Philadelphia: there was the old guard crowd, you older folk knew them, they were the dentist who practiced in the row house at the end of the block or were in a small medical office building in the urban or suburban neighborhood. They managed the Philadelphia County Dental society and were a disparate group of self-righteous, self-serving, ineffective provincial dentists, who were practicing Stone Age dentistry, but had squirreled away sufficient cash unreported to the IRS that they were, in their minds, wealthy. Then there was the Temple University Academic crowd, still generally practicing and teaching what was known as Mechanical Dentistry, the essence being the perfection of technique and skill in producing high=quality restorations of all types, fillings, crowns, and removable and fixed prosthodontics. Then there was the University of Pennsylvania Group, headed by the gentleman and his acolytes whom I described above. There, the students, in addition to dental procedures, were taught Oral Medicine both didactically and clinically, Oral Pathology, relevant microbiology, and pathology.

This last group was the equivalent of any autocratic machine or administration in the world. Any slight, whether genuine or misperceived was met with instant retort and retaliation. I once received an angry letter, hand-written in red pen, by the Supreme Leader because I mentioned a fact to a fellow officer about his non-payment of local dues to an organization of which he was head of their trustees and I was president of the Philadelphia Chapter. It was demeaning and insulting and I ran into him in the elevator of the building in which we both practiced, and told him that it was really unnecessary to spend all that time and effort writing a red-pen letter when he could have stopped down six stops on the elevator and we could have spoken about it. He vaguely apologized for the tone of the note and I said, "No problem. Apology accepted." And he absolutely glared at me but realized that I was not going to take any of his nonsense.

But to my point: this cabal controlled nearly every aspect of the profession in the Delaware Valley and woe betide anyone who attempted to somehow do an end-run around them or attempted to ascend to a greater height within academia or societally within the profession. However, when this all-powerful genie went to his Great Reward, as all of us eventually do, the entire schema utterly collapsed into a pool of blackness and despair. The whole essence of their reach disappeared over one weekend and by the funeral, was utterly dissipated. Now it is as though he never existed and rather than having an organized fill-in-the-blank, we have what the neuroanatomists termed a syncytium: a mass with numerous focal nuclei and no central nervous system. I believe that a similar occurrence will transpire with the Narcissistic Creamsicle who is disrupting the entire nation with his severe mental incapacity and disturbance.

As an aside: the BEST part about being around these now-solo miscreants is that one can verbally abuse them horribly and they have no protection, since they used to hide behind the Master. I overheard one day a dental assistant sotto voce telling this formerly-associated doctor: "If you don't take me away this weekend, I'm gonna call your wife and tell her everything." I leaned around the corner where they were hiding, and said "Hi there!" with a big smile on my face. "You shoulda seen the other guy". It made my day, week, and month.

I nodded my head in agreement:

The "REPUBLICAN CRIME SYNDICATE"

is my term for these arch-enemies of Democracy.

I believe we should begin using terms normally seen in comic books: crime syndicate and arch-enemy as above, dastardly, pathetic, depressing, revolting, slimy, alien, nauseating, repulsive, stinking, stomach-turning,… you get the drift.

Marvel and DC have changed the playing field of superheroes and villains dramatically from when I was a kid. Their verbiage cycles in the minds of the young and the usage of those words against the Revolting Republicans will conjure up images of bad guys of comics from the present back through the ages.


I personally will never forget the line from MAD Magazine’s sendup of Dick Tracy in the 1950’s:

“Mucous-face escaped while Tracy was heaving, Chief.”

This stuff stays in your brain. Forever.

Given the attack upon contraception...

I would like to remind the members of our club here that in the 1980s, on the set of CNN’s Crossfire, , Pat Buchanan told Michael Kinsley that when they, meaning the RW machine, were finished with abortion, they would go after contraception. Kinsley waved his hand and laughed at Buchanan and said “Oh come on, Pat.“

Well, when they tell you they’re going to do something you better frigging believe them. Christofascists, man, they’re insane.

Believe me, since they are of the “understanding” that sex is only for procreation, then, technically, they will attempt to outlaw sex after a woman reaches menopause. Think that’s ridiculous? So was overturning Roe v. Wade. “Not gonna happen”.
