my sister has walked on.

got the call this morning that my sister's trials are over.
dont think there is anywhere that she is now, i just know that she isnt in the last place on earth i want to be, myself.

she was in hospice, but nobody thought it would be this quick.

my youngest shares a birthday w her, and was very upset about the move to hospice. she is in the hospital herself, with a mysterious liver problem.
i talked to her this morning, intending to tell her, but right now she is in out of control pain, so i am just gonna wait on telling her for now. hopefully later today she will be a little more able to take the news.

daniel is the grassroots candidate for the chance to kick bruce rauner's ass.
i can attest to his near perfect liberal credentials. and his smarts. and more.
i helped out his first campaign. i have met him many times.

i have kind have been hanging back on jumping on the bandwagon.
jb is a rich guy, tho he was one of the poorer relations of the billionaire family. he has a good heart from what i am told by folks who know him well. i just want to pummel bruce rauner.
i intend to vote for dan, but i will be right behind whoever wins.

but it will be a much more satisfying defeat at the hands of the math nerd. dan also has the goods on rauner that jb can only dream of. he has been standing up to rauner from day one.


this would be a great time to cough up a couple bucks.

eta- my self interest in this campaign- i am currently the campaign manager for my sister, sheila rutledge who is running got dupage county board.
at the doors yesterday i got some questions about the gov race.

who only knows that her daughter in law was taken to the hospital, but doesnt know which one.
her 7 yo granddaughter, she says, will not make it. (read, on life support until family decides to pull the plug)

i have a fantasy that he loses this building and we get to remove his ugly scar of a name from the side of the building. it gets sold at fire sale price.

so, dont they say local government is the best government?
and dont they say that money should only be taxed once?

so, why are they trying to punish the blue states where their taxes are higher because government does what the people need it to do, by taxing that money twice?
