"Shelter in Place"

Brought to you by the NRA

October 25, 2018

The constant 24hr cable news cycle dilutes and obliterates the truth.

Such news coverage has not served us well.

The now feeble coverage of the important bomb story has turned into, once again, terror-porn-of-the-day.

Producers on the phone scramble to get any warm body available to fill time with their blah blah blah makes me crazy. This is why we get a empty headed Matt Shlapp

There are stories not being covered. Such as the GOP running roughshod over the judicial appointment process...

I think Malcom Nance would agree with me.

I'm focused on two things, I'm door knocking to GOTV and spreading #nikkiknew

Everything else is GOP distraction.

I'm off to Twitter....hope you will join me. @ #nikkinew

Nikki Haley...what did she know, and when did she know it? Haley needs to be outed?

Today I read a FB post about Nikki Haley and the heightened speculation about her resignation.
(Posted below at *)

Is it possible the GOP leadership fronted the "noise" about her resignation being tied to Kavanaugh to save her for a presidential run?

Meanwhile the true reason she resigned is she knew about the brutal murder of Jamal Khashoggi?

The date of her resignation falls smack in the beginning of the Khashggi timeline?

Lots to read.

Jamal Khashoggi was strapped to a table and dismembered alive by Saudi Arabian henchmen on October 2. His blood curdling screams were broadcast to the outside world on his Apple Watch for the seven minutes it took to kill him.

The next day, on October 3, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley privately drafted her resignation letter. (Thank you, Paula Cobia). Six days later, on October 9, she submitted it to a stunned public. No plausible explanation was offered for her sudden departure.

It was not until October 11, over a week after the brutal killing, that the world began to even learn what happened to Khashoggi.

It would take almost another full week after that for details of the gruesome ambush to publicly emerge.

What is clear, is that the American government certainly knew of Khashoggi’s killing before we knew, and most certainly in advance of the murder itself. Yet the past two weeks have seen nothing less than an absurd, obsequious public cover up from the president of the United States himself and top cabinet members for this gruesome ambush by the Saudi Arabian government of somebody Trump was certainly familiar with.

I'm waiting for Nov 6 to be over and done so we know what we need to do

next.

I'm working my 75 yr old ass off GOTV. But frankly dear friends, whether Democrats capture the majority, make headway in governorships, etc etc...

There is no guarantee that our Republic won't experience further erosion. The evil doers have tasted our blood and they aren't about to give up easily.

Is it safe to say the FBI and CIA have been neutered?

Speak up if you think there is doubt that
this administration knew what was going to happen to Jamal Kashoggi.

Nov 6 is not the end....it's the beginning. Pace yourself, eat healthy, start training.

Heidi Heitkamp

Please consider giving to Heidi. Her seat is worth saving, because Senate Committee chairs are held by the majority. All Senate seats held by Dems are worth fighting for.

Every morning I treat my fellow canvassers to coffee. I'm donating a week's worth of coffee to Heidi.

Sorry to say but activists are working harder than our national party.

Taylor Swift did more for Democrats than the DNC.

I'm convinced once again that our perennial disease of "tone deafness" has taken root at the top.

Did anyone see the NBC News segment doing man on the street interviews at Southern Cal?
Did anyone see the deer in the head lights response when the reporter asked a large group of students "who's voting in Nov"? *crickets*

I've been beating the same drum for weeks...why not a National Rally?

Do this but not that?

I'm pounding the pavement just like many many other DU'ers, doing GOTV.

Many many teevee watchers are only seeing tRump rally's, tRump lies, the Kavanaugh dog and pony show.....

Is it too damn much to ask the national party to show up?

Winning Truth vs Preception? Apprentice staging of 7pm Kavanaugh ceremony will

get coverage.... such coverage wins the day...

I say Democrats must do it all...ground, phone, text, bus tours.....AND a national
Rally.

Leave nothing to chance....use all the tools in ou tool box...a National Rally should be a no brainer.

I've said it before and say it again. The Democrats need to hold big venue get out the vote

rallies with as many big names as possible.

The kind of rallies that get covered by national media.
Rallies that energize voters, rallies that focus on young voters, etc etc.

In terms of the national stage, It just feels quiet.
