This parody of Jingle Bells takes a look at crimes, misdemeanors, and treason in the context of judges and the law of the land. Executive Producers Don Caron and Jerry Pender.
LYRICS to TO THE JAIL
He is headed, to the jail
its been a lot to track
He crossed the line and once its crossed
there aint no going back
Hell be there, for a while
Him and all his lies
And since hes almost eighty
He might be there til he dies.
Its not just one small crimeIts more like 94
Before his tribe will be convinced
Hell need a thousand more
He just might go that far
cause he cant close his trap
Hes threatening the judges
and wont stop until they slap him
With jail time for a crime
you can take your pick
there are so many to choose from
and they all seem to stick
To him because its what he does
hes always been that way.
It looks like things are changing
and he is about to pay
Theres judges on his case both
Republicans and Dems
He calls them RINO Judges
But theyll get him for his sins
Thats how justice works
on both sides of the aisle
they dutifully enforce the law
and do it with a smile
He is headed to the jail
its been a lot to track
He crossed the line and once its crossed
there aint no going back
Hell be there, for a while
Him and all his lies
And since hes almost eighty
Hell be there until he dies.

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump is ineligible to appear on the ballot in 2024 due to violating the 14th Amendment for his role in the Jan. 6 insurrection. Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold joins Andrea Mitchell to react to the ruling.
I think that the big picture, no matter if Donald Trump ends up being on the ballot or off the ballot, is the extent of how dangerous he is to American democracy. He tried to steal the presidency from the American people, Griswold says. I want to say I agree with the Colorado Supreme Court. Trump incited the insurrection, and there is no loophole in the Constitution. To hold that there is a loophole for the president in the Constitution would basically say Donald Trump is above the law when he engages in rebellion and insurrection. I think that's wrong. - Aired on 12/20/2023.[/b
