Sad. It just points how effective (and dangerous) FOX and RW radio's brainwashing has been.

There needs to be a reckoning regarding allowing this to go on. There used to be laws and stricter FCC licensing that kept this level of dangerous propaganda at bay--until all that was gutted starting in Reagan's era. It's time to bring back the Fairness Doctrine and do some housecleaning at the FCC. Allowing the lies to go unchecked is not just bending people's minds anymore. It's a clearly putting public lives in danger.

Great. Another dispersal vector is on the way in 3...2...

“Put the wall on pause immediately, that’s my advice,” said Kacey Ernst, an infectious disease epidemiologist at the University of Arizona who has watched the new construction boom with alarm. “These workers are potentially amplifying the virus around the country when they return home. This needs to stop.”

So far, there appears to be no plan to slow down construction. Raini Brunson, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, said the agency was following “government and C.D.C. guidelines” to determine how best to proceed with the work.

What CDC guidelines allow for this?

FEMA told us it "has not actively encouraged or discouraged U.S. companies from exporting overseas."

The government has yet to curtail exports by US companies, however—roughly 280 million masks in US warehouses were purchased by foreign buyers on Monday alone, per Forbes.

For some, making money is more important that anything else. All day, every day. Love of country? Support and compassion for your fellow citizens? Feh! I'd love to know who these companies are.

I call fibber!

it's something I've been warning about for a decade now. It's something that other conservatives have been -- small government conservatives have been warning about for a decade now.

Nope! NOPE! You can't claim that and have anybody take it seriously. Nice try. Glad to hear it now, but don't even think people don't realize that you've started saying it once the reality of small government bites you in the ass. It was just fine with you as long as everyone else's rear end but yours was on the line.

One more time: a functioning CDC with a fully staffed pandemic team

could have had boots on the ground worldwide and a game plan ready that could have helped stem the tide in China and elsewhere and would be keeping data as accurate as possible, for science.

Just sayin'.

This is awful, and you know it's not the only one.

I agree with above posters--if nothing else, this is going to underscore how morally wrong it is to turn medical care into a profit based enterprise. National health care is coming for those who live long enough. The scale of the pandemic will show its necessity.

YES! It's still going on, isn't it?

I don't think that Donny's tone change, if any, matters as much as the tone of the coverage he was getting.

Media was actually showing some nerve, starting to hit back, and we can't have that. Now suddenly media are no longer talking as much about the facts of coronavirus and how badly it's being handled, it's all about Donny again. Let's be concerned about how he's feeling and thinking.

What utter garbage. Turning on dime like this from drilling into the facts about his incompetence to his precious feelings smells like marching orders from the top. Ah, breathe deep the gathering reek.
