Good point, mcar!

When a baby cries during a speech, this is the response that I expect from a statesman...

Prescisely, TB!

I have no problem with bringing babies and small kids to most political events. Sure, it would be proper to get them out of there if they act up too much, but people are always talking about the family as the basis of our society, so what is so wrong about bringing the whole family?

My son and his wife have a baby who's one year old.. and I am refreshed first hand how much a baby needs to be with their mother when they're so young. They get hungry and need to be nursed for one important thing. No idea what was the case with the baby at the Sanders' event but he was rude and showed no empathy to the parents or crying baby.

Here's Biden in 2012 reacting to crying baby..

Thank you for this from Josh Marshall, Peggysue!

I see him on twitter standing up for reality a lot.

I'm not surprised by this "Biden Realism" piece.. and very much appreciate it.

For months now I’ve been in a back and forth with readers over what many have wrongly interpreted as support for Joe Biden. That’s not really right. It’s more like Biden Realism, which I’d describe as a focus on Biden’s apparent strengths despite many people’s wish that they weren’t strengths...

Thank you!

Excuse me.. but Why in the Hell wouldn't

"Electability" be a top priority?!

Right now Joe Biden is the top candidate who is the most electable.. and that's Not happening in a Vacuum!

People who are liking him for the job have reasons... it's called experience, qualifications in Domestic and Foreign creds.. Biden got to be known well during his 8 years as President Obama's VP whether some want to recognize it or not.

Thank you for your amazing analysis and focus on details, DI

Your premise is faulty.. I want Joe Biden

because he's the most experienced and qualified candidate for the job.. and he's Polling higher Against trump than any of the other candidate now.

Also, in 2009 President Obama didn't have the VOTES for anything other than ACA and we were fortunate to have those VOTES thanks to Obama's and Biden's hard work. It's a strong foundation to build on.

Most of the country does Not want mfa.. and they don't want to destroy ACA.. they want to build on it with a PO.

and Biden's campaign said it is returning such donations

Biden’s pledge applies only to federally registered lobbyists, and most of the money tracked by the AP was from others in the influence industry. But thousands of dollars did come from federally registered lobbyists, and Biden’s campaign said it is returning such donations.
