She has stated on numerous occasions that she supports expanding the use of drone strikes against military opponents, and, in 2014, refused to rule out the idea of using torture on suspected terrorists. Gabbard also spoke out vehemently against the Iran nuclear deal when it was first proposed by President Obama.

Sigh.. I think you're

absolutely right.. Joe Biden is going through the worse kind of grief himself.. losing his son Beau. He knows what families and loved ones are going through on his own level.

Not as shocking and horrific as losing them to a hateful-racist killer, with an automatic assault gun, while they were out shopping, of course, but your loved ones are still gone.

He is the epitome of hope who has found his purpose, and encourages others to find theirs in this time of deep, unfathomable despair.

As Biden stated in his launch Vid..

Joe Biden: “We are living through a battle for the soul of this nation”

"Black voters are crucial to any Democrat's bid for the White House.

Booker and Harris are desperate to shake loose Biden’s support."

Are black folks drinking the Kool-Aid?

Biden, of course, was the vice presidential choice of their beloved first black president, Barack Obama, as Biden assiduously reminds us. (Obama was name dropped 13 times during Wednesday’s debate, mostly by Biden, Politico reports).

There’s a long way to go. But if I were running for president, I would want to be best known for something other than Kool-Aid.

Mahalo for this perspective from Laura Washington and her brilliant background, highplainsdem!

She's saying what a lot of us have been saying about why Biden is so strong among the POC community.
