Great to hear, Walk away.. And, good for Hillary and O'Malley going after Bernie on his gun issues

Clinton and O’Malley slam Sanders on gun control

snip//

In one of the earliest and most engaging moments from the first Democratic debate, Hillary Clinton and Martin O’Malley took on Bernie Sanders’ position on gun laws.

Ms Clinton was asked on Tuesday night if Mr Sanders’ is tough enough on gun control. She simply replied, “No, not at all.”

The Democratic front-runner continued to say that it’s time America “stood up against the NRA.”

Ms Clinton, 67, and Martin O'Malley, 52, both criticised Mr Sanders, 74, for voting against legislation that would hold gun shops accountable for deadly shootings. Mr Sanders defended his record while Ms Clinton said that he was dead wrong on the issue.

“I voted against it. I was in the Senate at the same time," she said. "It wasn't that complicated to me. It was pretty straightforward to me that [Mr Sanders] was going to give immunity to the only industry in America.”

Mr O’Malley pointed to his record as the former Governor of Maryland. He of also questioned Mr Sanders commitment to pushing gun laws. However, Mr Sanders responded for better mental health services and stronger background checks. He also shouted while saying that "shouting" will not help acheive the outcome most Americans want.

Hillary showed the world last night that she has what it takes to lead our Country. And, she did seem to align herself with President Obama, and a lot of people are really appreciating that, including myself. I've seen quite a few tweets referring to it..

Awesome pic of Hillary at the Labor Protest outside of the Trump International Hotel..

Hillary Clinton Makes Surprise Appearance At Donald Trump Protest

LAS VEGAS -- Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took aim at Donald Trump Monday evening, making a surprise appearance at a labor protest right outside his Trump International Hotel.

"You have to say...'no' to efforts to prevent you from organizing, to prevent you from having the kind of working conditions you deserve, the kind of wages that are going to give you a living wage," Clinton said at the rally. "And that means saying no to Donald Trump."

"Some people think Mr. Trump is entertaining. But I don't think it's entertaining when somebody insults immigrants, insults women. That is just unacceptable behavior," she added. "When we're here together in solidarity to organize, we also want to send a message to Mr. Trump: That if you're going to run for president, then you should represent all the people of the United States, and that includes hard-working people."

The Cuban musical ensemble Buena Vista Social Club will make history on Thursday by playing at the White House, according to CNN.

The group will be the first Cuba-based act to perform at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in half a century when its members play for guests at a Hispanic Heritage Month reception.
The White House's invitation is a sign of U.S. and Cuba’s effort to normalize relations after five decades of tension that started during the Cold War.

The group, which now tours as Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, is in the midst of its farewell tour. It attracted widespread fame in the late 1990s by reviving Cuban music that was popular before the country’s communist revolution.

Obama is expected to speak at the reception, which will also be attended by Cuba’s ambassador to the U.S., CNN reported
