First thing the Oklahoma City Thunder needs are some new uniforms

This is a picture of the Oklahoma City Thunder playing in the NBA finals:

High school basketball uniforms aren't that boring. This is 1970s stuff--and not in a good way.

This is their logo. It is a good logo. One would think they'd put it on their jerseys.

My opinion of the Burger King "Carolina BBQ" Whopper

What the hell is this thing supposed to be?

BK has its "Summer BBQ menu" which includes the confusing Bacon Sundae, a Texas BBQ Whopper and this sandwich.

This is a Bacon Whopper containing "1/4 lb of flame-broiled beef" with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and, apparently, western NC barbecue sauce. And there lies the problem: Carolina BBQ is not, nor ever will be, beef. It's pork, and pork it shall remain. Beef is "grilled." (A LOT of beef is "grilled" in the Carolinas; if you were to "barbecue" any you'd be PNG'd out of the state by nightfall.)

It's also not a "Carolina burger with everything" because "everything" in the Carolinas includes chili and coleslaw, and not barbecue sauce.

Having said that, this is a very good sandwich. It would be nice if it'd remain on the menu after the special promotion ends, but that's not likely.

I gave it four stars for tasting really good, and subtracted two for false advertising.

Nutrition info: you don't want to know; let's just say no one ever went to BK for their health.

A small yet important question about "Obamacare"

I am calling it what the Republicans call it because the Republicans factor heavily here:

If "Obamacare" is such an awful, dangerous, unconstitutional, America-destroying piece of legislation that every Republican running for office in America, at every level from president to dogcatcher, has "we are going to repeal "Obamacare" as part of their platform...
then why didn't they kill it in the Senate like they did to the other 600 pieces of the president's legislative program?
