BLM Protesters Shout Down Fox News Correspondent

At a protest last Saturday in Minnesota, Black Lives Matter protesters became outraged at a Fox News correspondent leading to a heated exchange that was caught on camera.

The video below, which has been viewed on Fox News’ Facebook page upwards of 13 million times, consists of clips edited together of protesters antagonizing the correspondent.

“Fuck the police and fuck you too man,” says one protester.

“This is just as bad as the police. You are all a fucking part of this,” says another, slapping the microphone out of her face. “Get the fuck out of my face.”

Shortly thereafter, the protester turns “Get the fuck out of here” into a refrain.

Baton Rouge police shooting leads to federal investigation

The U.S. Justice Department will lead the investigation into the killing of a black man shot to death by Baton Rouge police, Louisiana governor John Bel Edwards announced Wednesday.

Alton Sterling was shot and killed early Tuesday outside a convenience store where he was selling CDs. Authorities say he was confronted by police after an anonymous caller said he saw a man threaten someone with a gun. In a cellphone video taken by a community activist, two officers had Sterling pinned to the ground, and gunfire erupted moments after someone yelled, "He's got a gun! Gun!"

Edwards said the video "is disturbing to say the least."

In a statement, the U.S. Justice Department said the FBI's New Orleans Division, the Civil Rights Division and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Louisiana have opened a civil rights investigation into the 37-year-old's death. Louisiana State Police will assist, Edwards said.

"I have full confidence that this matter will be investigated thoroughly, impartially and professionally," Edwards said.

Edwards urged calm in the wake of public outrage over the shooting. He said he had expressed condolences to Sterling's family, who is also asking for any public gatherings to remain peaceful.

"It's a horrible thing, it's a horrible thing to happen to him," said Sandra Sterling, an aunt who raised Alton Sterling, at a press conference earlier Wednesday. "He didn't deserve that."

Watch: 4 Cops Forcefully Arrest NYC Mail Carrier After They Almost Hit Him With Unmarked Car

March 17 was a regular workday for Brooklyn, N.Y., mail carrier Glenn Grays, 27, until he was almost hit by an unmarked police car carrying plainclothes police officers, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams said in a Tuesday press conference, according to Bed-Stuy Patch. Grays apparently didn't realize that the men were cops and allegedly mouthed off at them—"as any New Yorker would do," Adams said.


After the cops jumped out of their vehicle, they demanded Grays' identification, which he told them was in the U.S. Postal Service truck. 

A passerby quickly pulled out a cellphone to record the incident. It is then that you can see, in the video, the officers manhandling Grays and saying that he was resisting arrest.

People in the background can be heard saying, "Lawsuit, lawsuit, man."

Grays told the officer that he wasn't resisting, but the officer insisted that he was.

Adams said that the incident "could have been another Eric Garner situation" during the press conference, where Grays and his mother also appeared. At one point, Grays wiped away tears, according to Bed-Stuy Patch. Although Grays was arrested, he was not charged with a crime, but Adams says that he was still issued a court summons.

US Marshals just arrested this guy for a $1,500 student loan from 29 years ago

There are 94 U.S. Marshals that serve at the pleasure of the President and the Attorney General. They typically spend their days executing warrants on federal criminals, conducting domestic and international fugitive investigations, implementing extraditions and deportations of fugitives, protecting witnesses in federal cases or judges and are generally involved in the worst of the worst federal crimes. However, now it seems the U.S. Marshal Service is arresting people for not paying their student loans.

According to Fox 26 in Houston, Paul Aker says 7 people in full combat gear showed up at his house and he was arrested for a $1,500 federal student loan that he took out in 1987. That year the average student loan debt was under $10,000. To put that in context, the average student loan debt in 2015 was $35,000. So, $1,500 seems like a joke to dispatch a federal Marshal much less a full team of combat-ready police.

Still, Aker was taken to court and set up on a monthly payment plan to ensure the government got it’s $1500 back from the 29-year-old student loan.

It is still unclear why federal time and money is being spent to go after loans like this but Texas Congressman Gene Green told the station that debt collectors are managing to get judgments in federal court for them. Aker wasn’t the first, nor the last. There have been 1200-1500 people in the Houston area alone who have been hauled into federal court for not making payments on their student loans. This while Fortune 500 companies would owe as much as $600 billion in taxes if they didn’t hide their money in offshore accounts.

Vanity, whose real name was Denise Katrina Matthews, passed away in a Fremont, CA hospital on Monday ... according to sources close to her family. A few months ago she set up a GoFundMe page, and said she'd been diagnosed with sclerosis encapsulating peritonitis -- an inflammation of the small intestines.

She also battled crack addiction in the 90s, and after a 1994 OD her kidneys were shot. She had to undergo nearly daily dialysis treatments.

Austin police gun down naked black teen for ‘disobeying’ — and then refuse to say if he was armed

Police in Austin, Texas have declined to say whether a naked black teen who was fatally shot by officers on Monday had been armed at the time.

The Austin Police Department confirmed on Monday that an 18-year-old man who was not wearing clothes was shot by officers, and then later died in a local hospital.

Austin police Chief of Staff Brian Manley told reporters at a press conference that the incident occurred when officers were responding to reports of a suspicious black man. Manley said that an officer opened fire after the man disobeyed commands and then charged at him.

According to the department, the shooting occurred out of the view of the police cruiser’s dashboard camera. There was no evidence that officers deployed Tasers before shooting the suspect, the department confirmed.

Flint Residents Told That Their Children Could Be Taken Away If They Don’t Pay For City’s Water

Not only is the Michigan government poisoning residents, but now they are threatening to take their children for not paying for it.

Flint, MI – As the water crisis in Flint deepens, it is becoming apparent that the effects of the lead-infested water are not just a health hazard, but the situation has the potential of ruining many more lives outside of the poison issue. There is no denying that the water in Flint is undrinkable and that it is contaminated with lead and other substances, and it is clear that the government of Flint is responsible for the problem.

However, the city’s government continues to charge people for the poison water and then threatening to foreclose their home or take their children if they refuse to pay. Michigan law states that parents are neglectful if they do not have running water in their home, and if they chose not to pay for water they can’t drink anyway, then they could be guilty of child endangerment. Activists in Flint say that some residents have already received similar threats from the government if they refuse to pay their bills.

Flint residents have recently filed two class action lawsuits calling for all water bills since April of 2014 to be considered null and void because of the fact that the water was poisonous.

“We are seeking for the court to declare that all the bills that have been issued for usage of water invalid because the water has not been fit for its intended purpose,” said Trachelle Young, one of the attorneys bringing the lawsuit said in court.

“Essentially, the residents have been getting billed for water that they cannot use. Because of that, we do not feel that is a fair way to treat the residents,” Young added.
