The CDC is developing a coronavirus vaccine. Great. Something else for the idiots to refuse.

I predict a flood of people coming in to the clinic terrified of getting the coronavirus; and they'll still decline vaccination.

I had a weird momentary feeling when I attended a recent all-provider meeting.

I looked around and didn't know anyone. All of the colleagues with whom I worked for the last ten years were gone. It was a sea of unfamiliar faces. The one medical provider that I know is still around wasn't there.

For a rather melodramatic moment, I remembered those old movies about the Battle of Britain; RAF pilots getting together to drink after a day of air combat, and remarking on how few of them are left, the old gang gone for good.

That's stretching the point a bit, but it's how I felt.

I don't know how much longer it's going to be before I'm gone.

One of my former colleagues is working over at our cross-town rival. I think I'll give her a call and see if she's happy there...

"Republicans are tough. Democrats are spineless." Can we please now stop repeating this idiocy?

Since the 2018 mid-terms, our Democratic Party has been going great guns against the Russian Mob-funded, Brooks Brothers-wearing street gang known as the Republican Party.

The Republicans bow and scrape before a quivering sludge of vaguely humanlike protoplasm that makes Jabba the Hutt look like an ideal, upstanding citizen. They're ready to acquit him of every crime he's ever committed. I don't know what they fear; a Russian mob enforcer at their door, campaign donation checks drying up, a prosperous country for all, etc. But they're a spineless lot. A hapless, cowardly, feckless, obsequious band of losers whose time is the sun, God willing, will be ending soon.

Meanwhile, the Democrats in the House and Senate repeatedly demonstrate brilliance, competence, devotion to duty, and patriotism every single day during this agonizing American nightmare. They are our hope-spot. May they fight on...

They knew the whole thing was a sham. And they knew that, as a result, any future impeachment of a President, however legitimate, could be spun as partisan overreach.
