Just finished watching 'THX-1138' for the first time since high school.
Great story.
It has a binary viewership, since people who have seen it either love it or hate it.
I love it.
Among so many other things, it prefigures the opioid crisis in our country.
Along with the increasing de-humanisation, and reliance of technology over humanity.

Question re: concurrent use of edibles and smokeables:
Is there any risk in taking an edible (say, a candy) to start a long-term high going, and then smoking a joint to attain a rapid, short-acting high? The goal is for the candy to take effect just as the joint is wearing off.
Anybody else do this?
