Has anyone watched the latest videos from Mars on You Tube, attributed to NASA...?

..but some of them look like they have been photoshopped?

They are very interesting but it is difficult to distinguish the real ones from the fake, since they have the same terrain but some have added things like a snake, a hole in the ground, a piece of rope, UFO's in the distant sky, etc.

They are very interesting regardless. Very thought-provoking.

Joe Biden stole the "audit" from Trump in Arizona.

Everybody knows Trump won Arizona....just ask him.

The "audit" was a fraud. It was rigged. Joe Biden didn't win.

The Cyber Ninjas were a set-up. They stabbed Trump in the back. They were supposed to announce a huge victory for Donald Trump. Instead, they announce that Joe Biden got even more votes than he did in the General Election.

But, not to fear, they will keep the scam going. Arizona may have been a fraud, but they will find evidence in Texas that the Democrats did not get the votes they claimed. If that doesn't work, they will go to Georgia. If Georgia does not go the way they want, they will go to Wisconsin or Pennsylvania. The bottom line is that they have to keep the "Big Lie" alive.

"The election was stolen".

You know that, right?

When democracy is gone, will you miss it?

Many people do not trust elections, and democracy is under dire threat.

Democracy is a very fragile system of governing to begin with. Nowhere is it written in stone that democracy will last forever. What will change in our lives when democracy is gone?

The "free market" system will no longer be "free". Products will become more scarce. Bribery and corruption will rule the marketplace.

"Free speech" will not be the same. There will need to be a seal of approval before some words are spoken or images are shown. An authoritarian government would put a clamp on free speech.

With modern technology, your freedom of movement could be greatly hindered. You could be stopped and questioned at any time.

Is this really what people want? Or do they think it could never happen?

How precarious is American democracy at this time?

Are we in a better position than we were on January 6th?

Or worse?

The assault upon our democracy did not stop on January 7th.

It continues today.

One would think there would be at least one Republican to lead their Party out of the abyss?

But, they follow blindly. The Party of Abraham Lincoln no longer stands for anything, it only follows the siren song of the pied piper.

In actuality, the Republican Party has been lost for a long while. It has stood for nothing. Whatever was good for the people at large, they were against. No higher taxes, no more government spending, except for Defense Dept. The rest of their agenda was mostly anti-social. They were against free-thought about religion. They were against abortion. They were for prayer in school.

But, that is no longer the Republican Party. They have sacrificed their ideals for dreams of power.

It is amazing that no Republican has stepped forward to try and save their Party? One can only assume they are content with the direction they are going?

Our democracy is under severe threat at this moment. Republicans are unwilling to do anything to save it.

It reminds us of Diogenes. He wandered around his village in broad daylight, with a lantern, looking for one honest man.

Fixing A Hole

Will the four subpoenaed witnesses "take the 5th"?

Or will they claim "executive privilege"?

Or will they answer the Committee's questions?

Or will they challenge the Committee's authority and not even show up?

It's a good bet that the Committee has plenty of questions to ask each of these conspirators. Taking the "5th" will not stop them from asking their questions. It only stops the witness from having to answer on the grounds that it might incriminate him. The same portrait can be painted with or without the witness answering the questions. The viewer will infer what they wish from the questions.

I think we may be getting close to Merrick Garland time?

One must be careful when a mad dog is backed into a corner.

They slobber and bark.

They attack those that surround them.

One must be very cautious when near a mad animal. They are not predictable.

They have no restraint. They lunge blindly.

The Select Committee is not asking for blood, or money, or the first born.

They are only asking for information.

But from the reactions of the "former leader of the free world", one might think they are asking for all of the above?

It is time to put the lies aside. The people deserve to know the truth. To fight the information that can get to the facts of 1/6 is to fight against the truth. To claim some sort of "executive privilege" is an affront to common sense.

Under the circumstances, the seriousness of the attack upon our Capitol, there would be no "executive privilege", even if Donald Trump was still sitting in the White House, when there is a criminal investigation. (There may be political opportunism) There is no type of "privilege" for those that commit treason or sedition against our country.
